Kohl: I’m Terry Kohl, this is Beast Jackson. And welcome to GCW Vindication, with a special episode set up for tonight… Land Down Under!
Beast flips another burger and grabs a sesame seed bun from under the commentary desk, he puts the burger in it and places it on a plate below him.
Beast: Tonight will see the debut of the mysterious La Pesadilla, a man of mystery who has recently arrived here in GCW, as he takes on resident Hardcore brawler The Trashman.
Kohl: Also, we have Fatal-4-Way action tonight with Jensen, Aaron Black, Andreas Landa and Donald Hammerpunch! Thats a match that anyone could win!
Beast: And then to round off the show we will be witnessing Champion vs. Champion as Lucas Hawthorne and John Styles wage war here in the Qudos Bank Arena!
La Pesadilla vs. The Trashman
The Trashman comes out, his arms raised in the air with the Hardcore Championship in his hands. There is confused murmuring from the crowd as The Trashman grins and rakes around his signature trashcan, pulling out a mic.
Trashman: Look what I found in the trash everybody! Looks like I am the Hardcore Champion now!
There is confused silence as The Trashman tosses the mic back into his signature trashcan. He then swings the belt around in celebration, making his way down to the ring. He struggles to climb over the apron, he sighs and walks up the ringside steps in defeat at his short stature.
Kohl: Well, that answers that question Beast. I’m wondering what happened to the Women's Championship?
Beast: You can’t just declare yourself the champion and expect it to count!?
"He who makes a beast out of himself gets rid of the pain of being a man"
The lyrics are heard across the arena as the first notes of Avenged Sevenfold's Bat Country begins to play. As M. Shadows begins to sing, La Pesadilla comes out from behind the curtain. He has a grin on his face as he drags a steel chair behind him. The chair rattles against the bumps on the ramp. Once he reaches the ring, La Pesadilla tosses the chair into the ring and slides in. He picks up the chair and slams it onto the mat, intimidating The Trashman.
Kohl: Is that who I think it is?
Beast: Yeah, it’s La Pesadilla!
Kohl: Nono… under the mask… is that?
Beast: Jesus Christ Kohl, don’t you understand the traditions of Lucha Libre!?
Kohl: But-
Beast: A mask is a sacred institution in Mexico, the mask maketh the man! You don’t demand to know who is under there!
Kohl: Anyway… this no-disqualification match is going to be a bloodbath...
The ref suddenly rings the bell.
The Trashman roars and charges to try and tackle La Pesadilla. Pesadilla cracks the chair over the skull of The Trashman with a sickening thud. The Trashman stumbles back dazed into the nearby ring ropes as La Pesadilla lets out a sharp cackle which echoes throughout the arena. Stepping forward with a confident stride. He grabs The Trashman and hits a deadly looking 12 to 6 Elbow! Sending The Trashman down onto the ground wheezing and clutching his head. As The Trashman turns over and tries to use the ropes to pull himself up, La Pesadilla viciously drags his fingernails down the back of The Trashman. Screaming and kicking in agony. The Trashman quickly pulls himself through the ring ropes and lands with a thud onto the ringside floor.
Kohl: Jesus Christ La Pesadilla!
Beast: That fat midget is getting what he deserves
Kohl: Beast, that fat midget is a human being!
Beast: That is no human, that thing is a beast, it crawled out of a dumpster and has a basic grasp of english…
La Pesadilla leaps out of the ring and The Trashman panics and tries to scramble away on his hands and knees, the scratches on his back dripping with blood. Pesadilla swiftly catches up to him and hauls him to his feet, tossing him into the ringside steps. He grabs The Trashman’s fingers and then pins them under the ringsteps. Grinning wildly he suddenly jumps onto the ringside steps. The Trashman screams and pulls his fingers away as La Pesadilla cackles and casually leaps off of the steps.
Kohl: ‘La Pesadilla’ is fighting like an animal, he is toying with The Trashman as if he were his prey!
Beast: Our dearly beloved Hardcore Champion can’t get Hardcore, boo frickin hoo
The Trashman clutches his fingers in pain. La Pesadilla grabs his arm and pulls it up into the air, snickering loudly he then begins to start bending and twisting the fingers of The Trashman. Finger Snap! The Trashman goes silent and limp. La Pesadilla tilts his head and tosses him back his arm. Picking up The Trashman and rolling him into the ring. La Pesadilla leaps back in and begins to pace around The Trashman who groans. Stalking his prey, La Pesadilla stomps his right foot on the ground repeatedly.
Kohl: Oh no… Not good, not good at all.
Beast: Brutal but effective. FINISH HIM!!!
La Pesadilla lets out a growl as the crowd chant in mixed emotions. The Hardcore fans screaming for him to knock his block off, whilst the more squeamish fans scream for The Trashman, a beloved GCW Icon, to stay down. The Trashman slowly tries to get up when suddenly La Pesadilla charges forward and hits The Trashman across the face with a deadly RUNNING PUNT KICK!!! The sound bounces across the arena as The Trashman lands flat on his back out cold. La Pesadilla places a single boot on his chest as the referee begins the count.
1..2..3!!!
The ref rings the bell, La Pesadilla stands triumphant over the unconscious Trashman. Suddenly several members of security run down the ramp and begin to surround the ring, truncheons in hand. Kidd West appears in his office on the Titantron.
Kidd: And like that, the cockroaches I stamped out resurface. Don’t you get it. You LOST. L-O-S-T. You were banished Hawes!!! And you come back in this… awful disguise, thinking you can fool everyone!? You cannot pull the wool over this ones eyes!
West growls loudly
Kidd: These men will escort you out of here, and you will leave either willingly or by force… Hawes.
The security begin to try and make their way into the ring when suddenly a voice shouts
: WAIT!!!
Clint Bishop emerges from the backstage area mic in hand.
Bishop: Do not touch that man! He is not Owen Hawes. La Pesadilla is innocent. La Pesadilla was called up from our training promotion Boston Underground Wrestling - of course after spending several weeks in the Mexican Wrestling Scene… There are a list of companies that can vouch for his identity.
The Security stand around confused before backing off, La Pesadilla grins as he makes his way up the ramp. Kidd West frowns at this disobedience
Kidd: This isn’t over…
The scene fades into a commercial break.
Jensen vs. Aaron Black vs. Andreas Landa vs. Donald Hammerpunch
1..2..3!!!
The ref quickly rushes over and raises the hand of Aaron Black. Hammerpunch and Landa look out from ringside with mixed expressions at this recent development.
Champion vs. Champion - NON TITLE
Lucas Hawthorne vs. John Styles
In a relatively short affair. Lucas Hawthorne was victorious. The International Champion was able to defeat the World Champion in just a few minutes. The match starts off with John taking full control of a collar and elbow tie up. He transitions into a front headlock. The International Champion pushes John away with ease, using his feet to nail the World Champion with a beautiful Roundhouse Kick.
John hits the mat hard and Lucas spends a few seconds to breathe before he steps forward and pulls John to his feet, hands full of hair as he does. He slaps the World Champion, forcing him into the corner. He then begins to attack the champion with amazing Corner Knee Strikes, making sure to get as much power behind each strike as he can.
John stumbles from the corner, right into a Pele Kick from the International Champion. Lucas catches the World Champion before he can hit the floor, forcing Styles into the corner. Lucas grins, slapping John before backing off. Style’s begins to stumble from the corner as Lucas stalks his prey.
Black Metal!
John hits the mat with force. Lucas offers a sick and sadistic grin towards the camera before he picks John up once again, holding the World Champion until he can keep himself balanced under his own two feet.
Death Metal!
This time, the International Champion doesn’t even bother to catch John. He simply watches as the World Champion falls before he rolls over into the pinfall on the champion. He offers a smile as the count begins, he know’s that it’s over.
1….
2….
3….
The ref rushes over, attempting to raise the hand of the International Champion as the fans in the arena all look on in shock as what just happened. The World Champion was just made to look like an utter tool. Lucas pushes himself away from the ref, offering a grin as the lights all dim in the arena.
The moment they turn back on, Lucas is seen with the both the International Championship and the World Championship high over his head. The final scene of the show is John Styles on the floor, unconscious with Lucas Hawthorne stood high above him, both championship’s in his hands.
