(The crowd stands, as the usual theme music for the GCW hits the sound system. It's time for the start of GCW Ignition! The camera pans over the crowd, before settling in on the voice of the show: Nigel Alexander!)
ALEXANDER: Welcome everyone to GCW Ignition! We have a huge card for you tonight! Two debuting superstars go head-to-head, it's The Trashman and Needham! Also, Joe Wheeler continues his open challenge, he will put the GCW Canadian Heavyweight Championship on the line again! Also, we have a women's fight between two of the toughest ladies in the world, Camber and Ayumi! And finally, in our main event this evening, "The Big Fellow" Daniel Collins looks to continue his winning streak, against a man who has been a thorn in his side, Kenji Yamada. Alongside me this evening, is the People's Choice, Bobby Noice!
NOICE: Awooo~! It's going to be a great one tonight -- look for Collins to end the career of another sucker. Kenji Yamada is just not in the same league anymore.
ALEXANDER: You know very well Kenji Yamada can defeat anyone at any time. I do agree though, Collins is a beast, capable of causing chaos in that ring. Before we get to the main event, it's time for the debut of two new wrestlers in the GCW!
Needham vs. The Trash Man
(Could this be the first match for a future World Champion? ..maybe? Both men come down to the ring, with surprising pops from the crowd. The Trash Man, eating his old sandwiches and tuna fish from a can, is first to make his way down to the ring. He is yelling about how he loves eating garbage, and people seem to like it. Strange. On the other side, the energetic Needham is eating pork on a stick, and is pumping his arms in the air. Both men are looking to gain an advantage here -- but only Needham succeeds. He lands three massive lariats in succession before landing a spinebuster. He signals for the end, and lifts Trash Man in the air -- The Hambone!! Just like that, it's over. Needham is the winner!)
NOICE: Awooooooo~! Wow! Needham dominates in his debut!
ALEXANDER: There could be big things in his future! The crowd chants 'Feed Me Boar'! They love him!
NOICE: The Trash Man is still trying to win over the crowd by picking up, and munching on some of their garbage. That's weird, man.
ALEXANDER: Indeed it is. It's time for the women's match this week! Don't blink, or you might miss it! These are two hard hitting women who won't give up an inch!
Ayumi vs. Camber
("Fire of Unknown Origin" by Blue Oyster Cult hits the sound system and out comes the Sadistic Camber. She slinks to the ring, and smirks the whole way. Some younger fans attempt to slap hands, but Camber just stares at them. She steps into the ring, and here comes Ayumi. "Evolution" hits the sound system, and out charges Ayumi. She flies into the ring, and they start slugging it out before the bell can even ring. Camber gouges an eye, and gets the upper hand. She tosses Ayumi around the ring, making sure Ayumi's face becomes friends with the turnbuckles. She sets up for a senton, but Ayumi gets out of the way! Ayumi lands a perfect dropkick, followed by a snapmare into a ledrop. She leaps onto the corner turnbuckle, and hits a massive missile dropkick! She flashes a victory sign at Camber, and locks in the Ayumi Lock. Camber hangs on for a few moments, before choosing to fight another day. Camber taps out, and Ayumi picks up the win!)
ALEXANDER: A big win for Ayumi! Could she be in line for a future title shot?
NOICE: Could be! But look at Camber! She doesn't seem to care that she lost. Still smirking to the back. What is she planning?
ALEXANDER: Who knows? Before we can go any further, it's time for the Open Challenge!
"The Greatest Canadian of All Time" Joe Wheeler vs. Rocko "Swifty" Jeronimo
(Out comes Titus Canby to introduce his client, who comes out wearing his usual Canadian flag. In the ring, is the same opponent Wheeler has fought for the last few weeks, except this time, he is wearing a cape. Wheeler begins the match with a headlock takedown, followed by another! And another! The referee is telling him to knock it off, and to speed up the action, but Wheeler continues with the headlock takedowns. Funny enough, the crowd begins to count the number of takedowns, and Wheeler cracks a smile. He motions to the crowd, and says it's all over! He sets Jeronimo up for a piledriver and leaps into the air: JPD! Wheeler gets the three count!)
ALEXANDER: Wheeler wins over the same opponent again, and the crowd is starting to get behind him!
NOICE: Wait, what's that?
(The music of Needham hits, and the beefy man walks out. He is holding a microphone.)
NEEDHAM: I WANT HAM! I WANT GOLD! AT THE NEXT PAY PER VIEW, I GET BOTH. YOU.. ME.. WE WILL MEAT IN THE RING.
ALEXANDER: Woah! It looks like Wheeler and Needham are going to fight for Wheeler's Canadian Heavyweight Championship in a few weeks time!
NOICE: I'm pretty sure Wheeler would never have signed on for that. After all, it's not even an officially recognized championship!
ALEXANDER: I guess GCW brass are tired of his antics! I'm receiving word, it's official! The title is on the line! Anyway, it's now time for our main event. Kenji Yamada looks for another victory over Collins tonight -- in fact, Collins lost his debut to Yamada when he first stepped foot in a GCW ring.
NOICE: He was knocked the awooooo~ out, oh yeah. But that's the old Collins. The new Collins ends people's careers.
"The Big Fellow" Daniel Collins vs. Kenji Yamada
("Pride of Lions" by the Tokyo Ska Paradise Orchestra hits the sound system, and out comes Kenji Yamada. With two fan favourites like this, the crowd is split. Kenji gets into the ring, and has his sights focused on the back. This match is a big one for both men. "What A Wicked Gang Are We" is up next, and here comes the Big Fellow. He motions to the crowd, sort of, nodding at those who applaud him. Collins makes eye contact with his opponent, and they nod to each other. There is a mutual respect here, and both are ready to go. The two men lock up, exchanging arm drags. Collins trying to toss Kenji around, but Kenji lands on his feet, coming back with strong strikes. The exchange goes on for a sequence of about fifteen moves, before both men finish up, squaring off face-to-face. They stand up, and the crowd applauds.)
ALEXANDER: Listen to the crowd!
NOICE: They love it!
(Both men go back on the offensive, but it's Collins landing a huge Tiger Suplex to get the upper hand. He starts to wear down Yamada with a few power moves, a chop block, and a Russian leg sweep. He signals for the end. He climbs to the top, and leaps for a diving elbow. Kneji gets up, dropkicks Collins in the legs, who lands on his knees. Yamada comes off the other ropes, and hits his Drop the Bass finisher. Collins is slumped over on his back, and rolls to the outside.)
NOICE: I can't believe it! Yamada did it again! Collin is dead! DEAD!!
ALEXANDER: The referee is at a count of six.. wait! Collins is stirring! This match will continue!
(Collins gets back into the ring, as the referee reaches eight. Yamada nods his head in respect, before going back on the attack. He lands a few kicks to the downed opponent, runs to the ropes, and comes back with another kick to Collins. He kicks out at 2. Yamada signals that this is all over. He bounces off the ropes, and Collins is up with a MASSIVE clothesline. Yamada seems to flip over a few times, before landing on his back. The crowd is shocked at the power of Collins; Yamada was turned inside-out. Collins heads to the corner, and waits for Yamada to stir. Collins charges up a Fall from Grace, and Yamada is out. Collins covers for the 1-2-3, and has avenged his early loss.)
NOICE: Collins has done it! Awooo~!
ALEXANDER: Indeed he has! Daniel Collins has another big win! Is there anyone in the GCW who can stop him? He is on FIRE!
NOICE: The two men are shaking hands. The crowd seems to love this garbage sportsmanship stuff.
ALEXANDER: Indeed they do! Well, fans! Another Ignition is in the books! Stay tuned next week for another great show! It's GCW Ignition -- it's Global Championship Wrestling! Good night!
