Kohl: Hello, ladies and gentlemen and welcome to GCW Vindication where are Live in Nagoya, Japan! I’m Terry Kohl and along side me is my partner, Beast.
Beast: You’ve got that right baby! Kohl, i’ve got to tell you man, I love Japan. Everything is so futuristic man. I mean, did you see those revolving motel beds outside the arena? That’s awesome!
Kohl: Didn’t I see you in one of those beds?
Beast: Hey man, times have been tough.
Kohl: No problem partner. Anyway, We have a stacked show for you tonight with classics such as Chiyoko Uzuki vs Ayumi…
Beast: *cough* again *cough*
Kohl: Very funny Beast. We also have the special treat of a battle of the champions fatal 4 way as all the GCW champions face off to see who is the superior champion.
Beast: But first Kohl, we have a grudge match as the nightmare Owen Hawes takes on Darius Seeiso in what is sure to be the match of the night.
Kohl: There is a lot of history between these two veterans of GCW. Darius is still yet to break his recent losing streak whereas Owen has been slowly building momentum since his return.
Beast: Enough talk Kohl, you’re making me too excited.
Owen Hawes vs. Darius Seeiso
The two former champions put on an all out clinic to begin the show. Between the two, there was no clear advantage. The ending sequence was executed very well, as Owen went for his Release German Suplex, however, Darius flipped over him, landing on his feet. Darius waited for him to get up to go for the Night Driver, but Owen dodged at the last second before immediately hitting the Release German and Lucid Dream to get the pinfall victory.
Kohl: What a way to kick off Vindication as Owen Hawes picks up a hard fought win against a frustrated looking Darius. What will it take for Darius to snap back into good form?
Beast: Your guess is as good as mine partner. But i know one thing, Owen still looks as good as ever. Surely he’ll be gunning for that World championship soon.
Kohl: I don’t think anyone is “gunning” for that title. Not while Mason is the one holding it.
Beast: True. Anyway, speaking of formidable champions, we have a near unbeatable Chiyoko Uzuki in action once again.
Kohl: You’re certainly right Beast. Chiyoko has been on a tear ever since she won the GCW women’s championship. But she is not the only one as Ayumi has been silently building up some good momentum.
Beast: So, it’s a case of who has the most momentum? Sounds cool.
As Chiyoko makes her way to the ring, she notices the titantron flickering
Camber appears on the titantron and says "Ah good evening Chiyoko, I am pleased you accepted my offered term in such a way in which we can both be happy. I suppose the only question for you now is... what match do I want it to be per our agreement I can answer that quite succinctly. It will be a Fire Kingdom match, the people surrounding the ring will be dedicated followers of the fire kingdom, my knights and vassals other than that there are no no disqualifications and no countouts. You have a week to prepare for such a match as I have a match to prepare for both you and bill good luck" She smiled as the camera faded out.
Kohl: A fire Kingdom match has been called for by Camber next week. What could this involve?
Beast: Hopefully Chiyoko isn’t stupid enough to let this distract her from her task at hand.
Chiyoko Uzuki vs. Ayumi
Camber’s distraction seemed to shake Chiyoko initially as Ayumi gained control over a slightly clumsy Chiyoko. Ayumi used her larger structure to overpower the champion throughout the majority of the match. It seemed obvious that Ayumi was going to pick up the win as she climbed the ropes for a shooting star press. However, Chiyoko moved out of the way just in time, giving her the opportunity she needed to stage a comeback. And as we have seen countless times, if Chiyoko is on a comeback, she’s hard to stop and this time was no different as she set up Ayumi with a cutie patootie before climbing the ropes and connecting with Cupid’s arrow to win the match.
Kohl: Well despite the interruption by Camber during Chiyoko’s entrance, she hasn’t let it get to her as she secures a victory against Ayumi who just let the opportunity slip at the wrong time.
Beast: That’s all it takes Kohl, one opening and you lose the match. No questions asked.
Kohl: There may be no questions to ask for that, but there are certainly questions floating around about our competitors in the next match as Kidd West, Andreas Landa and John Styles face off in triple threat action.
Beast: The conspiracy is on thin ice at the moment as it is ever since John Styles joined. It could implode at any time now.
Kidd West vs. Andreas Landa vs. John Styles
*It was obvious that Kidd and John knew that Andreas would be a threat as they focused on him initially. However, Andreas had other ideas as he threw John and Kidd around as if they were rag dolls. It took a cheap low blow to bring the big man down for a while which gave John and Kidd time to square off. The chemistry was obviously there as each man knew exactly what the other would do which resulted in a series of reversal chains which the crowd enjoyed. The closing moments were intense as each man began swinging punches at one another until Kidd and John tried to take Andreas on again. They seemed to be doing well until John attempted to roll up Kidd. This was broken up by a huge clothesline by Andreas, sending John crashing to the outside. Kidd was too confused from the roll up to realise Andreas lifting him up for the hunter and the win*
Beast: I told you didn’t I Kohl? Andreas is the future of GCW. I can just feel it.
Kohl: I must say, Andreas is really making a name for himself with the people he has beaten so far.
Beast: How has this guy not won a championship yet? He should have won one by now.
Kohl: He may be an up and comer, but is he really ready for the title scene? We’ll just have to wait and see. Anyway, we’ll be right back after these…
: Ladies and Gentlemen--
Kohl: Wai-- What?
Beast: Who the hell?
: Everything you've heard is true!
Beast: I haven't heard a damn thing! Other than this interrupting piece of--
: I AM, indeed, big in Japan!
The lights begin to dim, as the titantron lights up. We see a button, on a podium, that reads "U.L.B.".
"Press the button, to begin."
A hand slams onto the button, and the camera cuts to a view of a bunker door, with a silhouette walking towards it. The door slides up, and reveals a purple, blueish space landscape, littered with stars and galaxies. The silhouette turns, and reveals himself to be Sway Archer.
Beast: GOD DAMN IT!
"All my life!"
Sway swaggers onto stage as the bass drops. The crowd erupts into applause and cheering.
Kohl: Sway Archer is back!
Sway laughs as he walks down the ramp, occasionally high-fiving fans.
Beast: Why?!
Sway steps onto the apron, and looks out to the crowd.
Kohl: He has a lot of unfinished business here in GCW! Perhaps he's come to tie up some loose ends!
Sway steps into the ring, catching a microphone from the ringside tech.
SA: こんにちは日本!
The crowd cheers.
SA: 私は日本語を話すのが嫌い...
The crowd starts to murmur.
SA: Honestly, it's tiring, I'm from Chicago... There are virtually no Asians, and the ones who do live there, know 90s hip hop better than rappers who lived through it.
The crowd chuckles.
SA: I also forgot you lot understand English, for the most part. In which case, WHAT'S UP MY NINJAS?!
The crowd cheers, some whoop, some holler.
SA: Main point-- I'm back, I'm angry, and Andrew, if your MMA wannabe ass keeps that International Championship, your ass is mine.
The crowd begins oohing and gossiping amongst themselves.
SA: I guess in a more cliche way-- Andrew Jordan, you're next!
Sway chucks the microphone in the air. As he turns to walk away, he instinctively reaches back, and catches the mic. He slowly brings it to his mouth.
SA: Sway Archer Galaxy Tour, next stop, championship gold.
Kohl: Who can believe it Beast? Sway Archer has finally returned!
Beast: Don’t remind me. Just go to the commercial already.
*Return from commercial*
Kohl: Welcome back to GCW Vindication where we have just witnessed the return of Sway Archer and the Galaxy Tour.
Beast: I said don’t remind me Kohl!
Kohl: Oh stop being such a downer. Besides, your favourite person is fighting next.
Beast: Oh yeah, my boy Jensen is facing Shio Corin and Kenji Yamada.
Kohl: That’s right. Jensen has had some recent problems with Shio after he attacked him despite Jensen saving him from Mason James.
Beast: Well, that was his fault for getting into Shio’s business. So, he’s going to pay the price tonight.
Kohl: Maybe, but don’t forget about Japan’s very own Kenji Yamada. He’s been on the sideline for a couple of weeks due to a knee injury but now he is back and ready to show his partner Andrew exactly what he is capable of.
Beast: This is shaping up to be a great match. Oh look, here they come now.
*The camera cuts to backstage as the three men make their way to the stage entrance. Everything appears normal until it is Kenji’s turn to enter as the camera spots a shadowy figure looming in the background*
Kohl: Did you see that Beast?
Beast: See what?
Kohl: N-nevermind.
Kenji Yamada vs. Jensen vs. Shio Corin
*The match was a great technical show as Jensen and Kenji struggled to gain control of the match. Shio struggled to keep up with both men as he seemed to spend more time outside. The closing scenes however were some of the most edge of your seat action as Kenji hit a reverberation on Jensen before hyping up his home country fans as he aimed for Shio. He began charging at Shio, attempting to hit a drop the bass before he was stopped by a diving dropkick form Jensen who seemed to appear out of the blue. Kenji rolled out of the ring which left Jensen with Shio all alone as he hit censored colours to secure the 3 count*
Kohl: What a maneuver by Jensen as he secures the upset victory.
Beast: I really thought Kenji had it won then but my man Jensen came out of nowhere to win. This is why he is a 3-time international champion.
Kohl: At least we can clearly say that Shio definitely payed for his actions last week.
Beast: True that.
Kohl: Anyway, we have reached the Battle of the Champions. 4 Champions. 1 match. 1 Winner. Who’s your money on Partner?
Beast: Do you really have to ask that? Of course my money is on Mason. Who’s going to be able to take on a man of that size?
Kohl: That’s true but remember Beast, there’s three other men in this match who could easily work together to defeat the monster in the shadows.
Beast: We’ll see Kohl. We’ll see.
Mason James vs. Andrew Jordan vs. The Answer vs. Daniel Collins
*Beast seemed to be right in choosing Mason as he controlled the first portion of the match. Andrew, Answer and Daniel just didn’t know what to do against someone as big as Mason. Mason was picking apart the three men with ease as Jessica looked on pleased with the display. Eventually the three men were able to work together to stall the monster by working him over to the ropes before tying him up in them. With Mason out of action for a bit, the trio turned their attention onto each other as a brawl began to break with the MMA trained Andrew gaining the most momentum from it. Andrew performed what was the move of the night as he dived over the trapped Mason James to hit a suicide dive onto Answer and Daniel. However, he could not gain much from it as the Answer used his good old sneaky tactics to rake the eyes of Andrew and gain his momentum for the match. Answer seemed to be closing in on a victory as he climbed up the ropes for a graceful calamity only for Daniel to knock him down and begin laying into him as punishment for the events of Masko. Daniel used his freakish strength to keep himself in control but he became too confident when he attempted to lift Mason up and failed, resulting in him being punished himself with a clothesline. As the closing stages rolled up, Mason appeared to be making a strong claim for the victory as he grabbed Andrew in a Mason massacre hold. Andrew however had other ideas as he flipped out of the move and began laying into Mason with lefts and rights. He began running to the ropes but he was grabbed by Jessica. Andrew, frustrated at the interference, began to get into the face of Jessica. As soon as Mason saw this, it was as if a switch had been moved as he confronted Andrew before a brawl ensued. The two men kept exchanging blows as they made their way up the ramp and up to backstage. The Answer looked on with confusion which gave Daniel the perfect chance to catch him by surprise and connect the Make or Break which secured him the win.
Meanwhile, Mason and Andrew continued their brawl backstage as several officials and developmental talent tried to separate them. It appeared as if they had succeeded until Andrew broke out and jumped over a table to hit a superman punch to Mason, continuing the brawl. Luckily, everyone was able to keep them back as the two struggled to get out.
Mason: I’M NOT FINISHED WITH YOU YET ANDREW!
Andrew: RIGHT BACK AT YOU BIG GUY!
Mason: I COULD CRUSH YOU DOWN TO A BLOODY PULP!
Andrew: OH REALLY? THEN WHY DON’T YOU TRY AT KAIJU THEN? BECAUSE I’M CASHING IN!
Mason: BRING IT ON!
Kohl: I can’t believe it Beast. Andrew has just cashed in his international championship for a chance at Mason James’ championship at Kaiju!
Beast: This is ludicrous! Does Andrew have a death wish or something?
Kohl: I think Andrew wants to prove to Mason that he isn’t scared of the big man. Anyway, that’s all the time we have today. I’ve been Terry Kohl, he’s been Beast Jackson, and you’ve been watching GCW Vindication. Goodnight everyone!
Beast: You’ve got that right baby! Kohl, i’ve got to tell you man, I love Japan. Everything is so futuristic man. I mean, did you see those revolving motel beds outside the arena? That’s awesome!
