The GCW Theme blasts over the visual of the interior of the Spark Arena as Pyro blasts off on the stage, the camera pans across the card as the official attendance of this Episode of Vindication is posted at 11,760 fans inside the Spark Arena. We cut to Terry Kohl, wearing a neck brace, at the commentary booth. Joining him is Beast Jackson, who appears to be carrying a small bucket of popcorn. Kohl clears his throat and in a raspy tone groans.
Kohl: I'm Terry Kohl...
Beast: And I am Beast Jackson! Welcome to Friday Vindication! Great to see you here Kohl!
Kohl: ... I should be recovering... but... I was flown out here... on emergency
Beast: Haha! Great to see you are dedicated to the show!
Kohl: ... Tonights matches include... Lucas Hawthorne's debut... Donald Hammerpunch facing The Answer... and Andrew Jordan vs. John Stylesssssss
Kohl starts to cough hard and lets out a pained croak
Beast: Last week we saw the return of the veteran Aaron Black to in ring action, but before that he reintroduced himself to the crowd and the fans at home in a very special segment which we will be recapping for you immediately
The Camera fades to a replay of the events of last week's GCW Friday Vindication from Christchurch, New Zealand.
As Vindication begins, "So what's the craziest thing you've done lately?" is heard over the arena followed by "Throne" to an enormous eruption from the crowd. They begin humming along to the opening of Aaron Black's theme.
Terry Kohl - "What the...!"
Beast - "Well here we go, this guy's not wasting any time."
Kohl - "We were just talking about Aaron Black's appearance at Kaiju: Beast of the East and what it could mean for GCW and now I think we're about to find out!"
Aaron makes his way down the ramp to the roar of the crowd. He is almost in awe as the fans in Christchurch hum along to his theme song.
Kohl - "This is crazy!"
Beast: "This place is not glued!"
Aaron finally gets into the ring and retrieves a microphone. He takes a moment before speaking, standing in awe with a smile ear to ear at the reception of the crowd.
Aaron - "Wow. Thank you."
The crowd cheer.
Aaron - "It's been a long time since I've been in this ring and I can't tell you how much I missed that. Honestly....you remembered me."
They chant for Aaron.
Aaron - "Now down to business. It's been a long time since I've been in this ring, and honestly, I never thought I would stand here again. You see last year I suffered an injury to my hand at the hands of The Conspiracy. With a sledgehammer, Kidd West fractured my right hand in three places. After that, I made the mistake of wrestling in a cast and hurting myself even further. I risked never being able to hold my children for this. I had to ask myself, is it really worth it? A long time ago I told myself if I ever had to ask myself that question, it was time to walk away ... so that's what I did. I walked away .... but I couldn't stay away."
The crowd cheer.
Aaron - "Now I know it's been a long time and hardly anyone in that locker room recognizes me any more but I am confident that I can speak for every one of them when I say that as a wrestler, when you can't do this or don't do this for a time ... it gets to you. You start to get an itch you just can't scratch until you find yourself kicking someone's head off or locking in a submission or taking a dive off that top rope or hell, even being slammed down onto the mat. This is something we live for, and when it's time to walk away, part of us dies. But ... a very wet man once said, what is dead may never die."
The crowd cheer for the reference.
Beast - "Cheap pop."
Aaron - 'In all seriousness, with a will, you find a way, and these past few months I've been obsessed with finding a way. I needed to be here, doing this, against whoever. It doesn't matter if I'm fighting for titles or not, main show or pre-show, I don't care. This...."
He points to the ring and then at all of the crowd.
Aaron - "This is impossible to explain. The rush of adrenaline, the euphoria of hearing a crowd cheer your name. It's been a long time ... and time changes things. I've had so many different doctors look at my hand and they all tell me the same thing...."
Aaron - "I'm healed. I'm at 100%. I'm back."
The crowd erupt into cheer once more.
Kohl - "What a moment!"
Beast - "Oh shiiiiiiit."
Aaron - "And with that being said, I'd like to take this moment to put everyone back there on notice because BLACK IS BACK, and ..."
He raises the mic so the crowd can finish for him.
Crowd - "BLACK IS BETTER!!!!"
He drops the mic, rolling out of the ring while his entrance music plays.
Kohl - "An emphatic statement from the GCW veteran to the new blood!"

The clip fades back into Beast and Kohl at the commentary desk
Beast: And tonight Aaron Black will be facing Sway Archer and Kenji Yamada in a triple threat match, in what many will call an enticing showdown.
Kohl: yeah...
Beast: First up though, its Jensen vs. Andreas Landa!
Jensen vs. Andreas Landa
In a short match. Neither man came victorious as the match had to be stopped several times due to various technical glitches. The music playing too early, Pyro randomly going off and even the feed cutting to black at one point. When we returned to the match both men were fighting outside the ring, unaware that the ref was counting them out. The match ended in a draw as the bell rang for a double countout much to their annoyance.
Lucas Hawthrone vs. The Trashman
The trashman stands in the ring. Awaiting the arrival of his opponent.
The lights shut off, leaving both ring and fans in pure darkness. The titantron lights up, the words "Death Metal approaches" appearing on the screen for a few moments before the arena is plunged back into darkness. Then the titantron flashes again, a countdown appearing. Every number, from ten to one makes a little "beep" noise when it appears. Then the arena is plunged back into darkness. A spotlight appears on the stage for a few seconds before vanishing. A few seconds later it appears again before disappearing. The interval between this speeds up until it all stops, then the titantron flashes again. The words "We warned you" appear before a video of Lucas nailing an opponent with The Death Metal appears on the screen. A voice begins to speak throughout the arena, quiet and cold. It says "We warned you what would happen if you ever met The Master of Death Metal" before everything goes dark and silent once again. A heartbeat begins, then nothing. Then the song begins to play and the single spotlight appears once again. Smoke begins to roll over the stage as Lucas Hawthorne appears, sat in a chair resembling the Iron Throne from Game of Thrones. He stands up, scanning the arena as he removes the black leather vest from his body. He offers a cocky grin as the song stops. The voice appears again throughout the arena, saying "Darkness rolls across the land! Fear the Master, the cards in his hand!". The lights remain off as Lucas walks down towards the ring, only turning back on once he reaches the bottom of the ramp. Lucas silently climbs into the ring as the song continues from where it was paused. He locks eyes with his opponent, taking a seat in the middle of the ring.
Kohl: I'm... on edge
Beast: And we're off!
The bell rings. The Trashman pounces forward looking to attack Hawthorne. But quickly Hawthorne counters with a Gut Kick! sending The Trashman stumbling backwards. Hawthorne then begins hitting him with some stiff looking elbow shots until The Trashman ends up backed into the corner. Hawthorne then unloads with several Corner Knee Strikes! The Trashman slumps down clutching his gut and chest in pain.
Kohl: Trashman... needs to throw... in the towel
Beast: He's literally getting murdered in the ring. And on Free TV too!
We cut backstage to see Kidd West watching the match on the monitors looking heavily invested in the massacre going on in the ring. Suddenly, we see Hawthorne toss The Trashman to the ground and begin unloading with Several Knee Strikes To The Head! The Trashman lays struggling to get back up as Hawthorne retreats to his corner to try and recuperate some stamina. The Trashman slowly shambles up to his feet, Hawthorne steps forward... DEATH METAL!!! The Trashman flops to the ground unconscious.
Kohl: Holy... Christ
Beast: Hawthorne nearly took his head off!!!
Hawthorne plants a boot on the chest of The Trashman. The ref begins to count the pin
1..2..3!!!
The bell rings as Hawthorne stands triumphant over The Trashman, there is a mix of boo's from the crowd at the destruction of such a beloved figure in GCW. Hawthorne begins to make his way to the back as we cut back to Kohl & Beast
Kohl: Poor... poor Trashman
Beast: Maybe you can give him directions to the nearest hospital
Beast chuckles as we cut to commercial
Beast chuckles as we cut to commercial
Aaron Black vs. Sway Archer vs. Kenji Yamada
With Kenji Yamada absent from this match. It turned into a singles competition between Aaron Black and Sway Archer. The two engaged in an Open match where both men looked to be clear winners at times. Black's experience gave him the advantage in the wrestling department with careful and precise destructive techniques being put into place to weaken and wear down Sway Archer. But at the same time, Archer had his pace and agility to counteract this. Being able to hit dozens of quick punches and kicks in a matter of seconds. In the end, Sway Archer came out victorious after hitting a tough Touch The Sky!!! for the three count.
Donald Hammerpunch vs. The Answer
In a relatively short and hardhitting affair. Donald Hammerpunch overcame the veteran Answer after countering a Brogue Kick! into a Snap Suplex! and cinching in and wrenching The Answer with a painful Dragon Sleeper!!! The United States Champion struggles to break free as 'The Worlds Most Dangerous Man', the innovator of Don-Jitsu, keeps the hold locked tightly. The Answer struggles, trying to reach for the ropes before yelling in pain and tapping out. Immediately releasing the hold, Donald Hammerpunch stands up, the ref raises his arm in victory as he stands triumphant. Suddenly 'Wolves of Winter' by Biffy Clyro blasts over the speakers as Kidd West hops out on his crutches with a mic in hand.
West: Great Job Don, you don't mind if I call you Don do you? I just find having to be so formal to be very... boring if you will.
West: Great Job Don, you don't mind if I call you Don do you? I just find having to be so formal to be very... boring if you will.
West smirks
West: I've been watching you closely Don, and I think you might have something, a spark of talent if you will. And it was the decision of the Board of Directors to offer you this opportunity. You'll be competing next week for the GCW International Championship. Against a very special opponent.
West lets out a soft laugh
West: For you see. The Board Of Directors have chosen you to be their 'Chosen One'. However, Don. I disagree with the Board, in fact I would go as far to say there is someone here who is also deserving of the opportunity. Someone who I think personally can be the face of the GCW International Division. And You'll find out soon enough next week.
West struggles on his crutches back to the backstage area.
Andrew Jordan vs. John Styles
The Main Event of tonight. John Styles put in a top notch performance against Andrew Jordan. However, the match was mired with controversy after John Styles hit an Apron Piledriver on Andrew Jordan. Jordan was down and out for several minutes as ringside medical staff and paramedics rushed to the ring to check on his condition. Eventually the match ended with an injury stoppage as Andrew Jordan was carried out of the arena on a stretcher. There will be an update on his condition later at the official Press Conference.
