STAPLES Center
Official Attendance: 21,000
Los Angeles, California
The Red Pyro blasts off in the STAPLES Center as we pan over the audience. The official attendance is shown as 21,000. We then cut to ringside where Terry Kohl and Beast Jackson sit, joined by none other than Kidd West who appears to be dressed in his ring gear with an official Conspiracy Zip Up Hoodie
Kohl: Welcome to GCW Heatwave LIVE from the STAPLES Center in sunny Los Angeles, California! I am joined here tonight by my colleague Beast Jackson and the owner of GCW, Kidd West!
West: Thank you Kohl! I am here with a very special purpose this time! I am hosting the first ever GCW Opportunity Scramble Game Show!
Beast: A Game Show… in wrestling?
The theme of John Styles plays as he begins to make his way down the ramp in the background. Drew Murdock then joins him walking down to ringside after him.
West: The aim of the game… my dear friend is simple, When an opponent is thrown over the top rope they are eliminated and pick last. With the eliminator going up and picking their case, the lucky contestant to get the first elimination also will win a deluxe car courtesy of our sponsors!
The theme of Kenji Yamada plays as he also begins to make his way down to the ramp in the background
Kohl: Sounds like a blast, will be interesting to see who comes out on top!
The theme of Bandit begins to play as he struts down to the ring in the background
Beast: I predict an utter shambles and terrible showing
The theme of Sway Archer begins to play. He comes out, arms outstretched posing as if he is sure he is going to win. Suddenly, a masked wrestler appears behind him and hits him in the back of the head with a steel chair, Sway stumbles forwards and slides down the ramp as this masked female wrestler shakes the chair above her head and roars.
Kohl: MY GOD! He was sent flying by that… who is that?
Beast: More importantly, why is she in this match?
West: That… my friends… is Wolfe of Hollywood Championship Wrestling, our Western US Developmental Territory. I gave her the opportunity to fight here tonight and make her debut as she has dominated against the males in HCW, definitely a big fish in a small pond.
Kohl: Well. Sway is crawling into the ring, and Wolfe is following...
The Opportunity Scramble Game Show Wrestling
John Styles vs. Drew Murdock vs. Bandit vs. Kenji Yamada vs. Sway Archer vs.
As Wolfe slides into the ring, the bell goes and everyone just rushes into a large brawling melee of punches and flurries of blows. Bandit is able to somehow isolate the still shaken Sway Archer who leans against a corner rubbing his neck. Bandit quickly rushes over and hits a boot across the side of Sway’s head, in anger. Sway gets back up and proceeds to start pummeling Bandit into a corner. Suddenly Bandit blocks and quickly grabs Sway in a headlock and tries to keep wrenching. Angered, Sway Archer rushes the ropes and pushes Bandit over the top rope. Bandit clings on for dear life, hoping not to fall. Sway simply kicks hhim in the head and scrapes him off the mat with his foot
Kohl: We have our first elimination!
Beast: Poor Bandit…
West: SWAY ARCHER! COME RETRIEVE YOUR CASE!
Sway runs up and quickly snatches Case #2. We cut back to the ring where Drew Murdock has somehow locked Wolfe in a camel clutch. The female superstar is struggling to break free when suddenly Kenji Yamada intervenes with a running boot to the face of Drew Murdock. Kenji attempts to help the dazed Wolfe up only for her to punch him off and quickly hit a springboard DDT on Yamada. Dragging him to the corner, she attempts to throw him over but Drew pulls her back by the hair.
Kohl: Wow… I didn’t know we allowed catfighting in GCW?
Beast: This is awful to watch…
Kenji attempts to try rush in to break it up only for John Styles to dive in with a running forearm blow to knock Kenji Yamada into the ropes. John quickly tries to push Kenji over when suddenly Drew joins in after tossing Wolfe into the corner. Drew - unaware of what is going on behind him - is tossed onto the apron by Wolfe. Suddenly Kenji flips over, catching Drew with his leg and sending Drew crashing to the mat alongside him. There is silence for a few seconds until West coughs.
West: Kenji Yamada… please collect your case for eliminating Drew Murdock…
Yamada fist pumps and runs up grabbing Case #3. John Styles shakes his fist at a grinning Kidd West, turning around and quickly rolling left to avoid a Wolfe dropkick. Styles quickly grabs her and tosses her across the ring by her hair. Angry, Wolfe rushes him only to be met with Styles Snap Powerslam, driving her hard into the mat. She rushes at him again, attempting a Huricanrana which Styles quickly counters into his former partner Drew Murdocks Damnatio Memoriae, driving wolf into the mat. Styles then busts out a finish of his own, quickly superkicking her before then dragging her by her hair to the ring ropes. Dumping her unconscious body over the top.
Kohl: My… Styles was vicious there
Beast: He really dodged a bullet with Kidd West trying to screw him there…
West: John Styles… will you please join me on the stage to open your case…
The three victorious men line up, each with their case in hand. John Styles with a grin confidently opens his to reveal inside a placard.
i.gyazo.com/d11b7b8632099bf9503554deb7992f30.png
Styles fist pumps and takes his case backstage as West stands unimpressed at this result.
Kenji Yamada then begins to open his, he slowly unclips the locks and opens it up wide to reveal…
i.gyazo.com/16f1b293577b60a5ed2a4d90d2432756.png
Finally, we see Sway Archer rubbing his hands, he knows he cannot possibly lose. He slowly unclips the case and then raises it above his head. He cheers as he begins to dance in victory. A camera pans on the placard inside which Sway Archer has not yet noticed.
i.gyazo.com/f7f539be34f6f67f5dc6765bb7d378df.png
West coughs and Sway looks at it… his face droops to one of shock and panic as West stands there grinning. Suddenly, Darius Seeiso and Maricia appear from backstage. Both carrying their belts over their shoulder.
West: Well Sway… we’re not going to fire you…
Seeiso: I suppose Kidd, we have to make the briefcase at least count for something if we’re not going to fire him… The briefcase calls for something to be terminated…
Kidd: Sadly it is not your contract…
Seeiso: Potentially your life… but what we are terminating is our partnership with you… come on out… ‘The Hunter’... Andreas Landa!
Sway archer quickly grabs his briefcase and looks at the entryway to the ramp. However, a huge figure runs through the crowd, leaping over the barricade and charging up the ramp, slamming into the back of Sway Archer painfully. He then drags him up and tosses him into the cherry red prize car Sway Archer had won for getting the first elimination. Opening the door, Landa sticks Archer’s arm though it and gives it a heavy kick, sending Archer into a fit of screaming pain.
Kohl: My god… its an assault from the beast…
Beast: Now this is what I paid to see!
Landa slams Archer headfirst through the rear window before dragging him back out and striking him several more times. Picking him up again. Landa hits a pop up powerslam onto the hood of the car leaving Sway Archer in a massive dent in the car. Landa and The Conspiracy begin to walk backstage as Sway Archer still lays unconscious in the car as we cut to a commercial for the GCW Network
GCW Hardcore Championship - Beach Brawl Fatal-4-Way - By Darius Seeiso
El Masko © vs. Dan Henderson vs. Danny Gordy vs. Daniel Collins
Danny Gordy stands in the ring as GCW returns from the commercial break.
"Bleed for a living" starts and El Masko walks out wearing sunglasses, the title around his waist, and holding a boombox, and points to the sky. He runs towards the ring highfiving as many people as he can before stopping at the ring. He places the boombox on the ground, and hops onto the apron and climbs to the top rope. He makes a looking motion and climbs back down to place his sunglasses on a random fan before rolling into the ring. He angrily brushes the sand off him, and waits in the corner.
Kohl: El Masko, our hardcore champion! He's got a big challenge ahead of him.
Daniel saunters onto the stage, cockily shooting finger guns to the crowd, walking backwards. He hops a little as he makes his way down the ramp. He steps into the ring and flexes in the centre, before walking over to a corner.
Kohl: Here comes Dan Henderson, and--
: No! No, no, no, no-- NO!
The crowd murmurs as the music stops.
Kohl: Umm, what? Eh-- wha-- no?
: NO!
A man appears on stage, holding a microphone.
Beast: Is that--
Kohl: Oh no...
Beast: It is!
Kohl: Yup...
Beast: IT'S THE ANSWER!
The Answer stands tall on the stage, in his ring gear, holding a microphone.
The Answer: Dan--
The Answer holds his hand up and does some air quotes.
The Answer: "Hendo" Henderson, isn't gonna make it tonight. He's had a tragic skiing accident, in which one of his trusty skis somehow made it too close to his-- *ahem* rectum.
Kohl: Oh please...
The Answer: I don't know why I'm telling you about his accident. I suppose it could be viewed as an attempt to garner sympathy, but it's really just to conceal the fact that I've simply locked him in a supply closet, leaving his spot open for me.
Kohl: Wait, what?
The Answer: Soooo! In lieu of Dan's absence, Clint decided to add some diversity to the names in this match up, and provide me, The Answer, as Dan's replacement!
Beast: This is brilliant!
The Answer: So without further ado, DJ! Spin that track!
The Answer nods, and then lifts the microphone back up to his mouth.
The Answer: Or, play my music, whatever.
The Answer begins jogging down to the ring, arms outstretched, soaking in the mixed reaction of the fans. He grabs a little toy bucket from ringside, and begins filling it with various toy shovels and rakes scattered around ringside.
Beast: This is amazing Kohl! The Answer is back!
Kohl: He locked Dan Hender--
Beast: Minor details, Kohl! The Prestigious Champion is back! He's "The One Who Gets It Done"! He's THE Answer!
The Answer steps into the ring, holding the bucket, and begins to jog around, keeping his arms outstretched, nearly slapping Fink.
Kohl: This is atrocious...
Fink steps to the centre of the ring, and raises the microphone. He has little shoe covers on to protect his leather shoes from the sand.
Fink: Ladies and Gentlemen, the following match, is a fatal-four-way, 'Beach Brawl', for the Hardcore Champio--
The Answer smacks El Masko in the back of the head with a toy shovel, breaking it off his head. Fink turns around in confusion, and the four competitors begin brawling. Fink hurries out of the ring, and the bell rings.
Beast: This is going to be good.
Kohl: Yes, umm, the fatal-four-way for the Hardcore Championship! Dan Collins vs El Masko vs Danny Gordy versus--
Beast: The Answer! He's back!
Kohl: Yes. He is...
Masko slaps The Answer. The Answer hits Masko hard, produces a toy hand-rake from his bucket, and rakes Masko's back.
On the other side of the ring Danny Gordy and Daniel Collins are scuffling. Collins blasts Gordy with a shot to the stomach. Gordy pushes Collins into the centre of the ring, where Masko hits him with a dropkick to the back of the head. Collins stumbles forward, and Gordy drops him with a straight right. Collins rolls out of the ring, and The Answer throws Gordy out of the ring after him.
Kohl: We're left with the two men who started off fighting in this matchup, Answer and Masko.
Answer and Masko start trading shots, Masko ducks a shot and hits Answer with a forearm. Answer stumbles backwards, slipping on the sand, and falls between the ropes. Masko attempts to catch his breath in the ring, when he's cracked in the back of the head with a bucket.
Beast: Daniel Collins using these props to his advantage!
Collins hits Masko with a German suplex, dropping Masko on the back of his head. Gordy slides into the ring, and stands tall, waiting for Collins to turn around.
Kohl: Looks like Gordy and Collins are gonna square off a lot in this match!
Gordy puts up his fists, and readies himself.
Beast: Well here's a perfect example--
A man in a shark costume spears Danny Gordy out of the ring. Gordy hits his head off the steps, knocking him out cold.
Kohl: What the hell?!
Beast: That-- That must have been Jaws, Kohl! Jaws just took out Danny Gordy!
The shark stands up outside the ring, and rips off the hood of the shark costume, to reveal Dan Henderson.
Kohl: That's not Jaws, Beast. That's Dan Henderson!
Dan Henderson basks in the adoration of the fans, and then security hauls him away.
Beast: That's Dan Henderson alright. The same Dan Henderson that isn't in this match, so bye bye Dan Henderson!
Answer hops on to the apron, ready to fight. Masko grabs Answer's ankle, and pulls him off the apron, into a power bomb position.
Kohl: Move, Beast move!
Masko powerbombs Answer through the announce table.
Beast: My soda! Masko, my diet soda, masko!
Masko rolls into the ring, and as he stands, Collins throws sand into Masko's face. Collins picks Masko up into his shoulders.
Kohl: Collins looking to dunk Masko here!
Masko frantically claws at the face of Collins, who subsequently drops Masko. Masko turns Collins around, and drops him with a Hug-Plex.
Kohl: Hug-Plex!
Masko begins scaling the top rope. He jumps off and crashes onto Collins with a frog splash.
Kohl: Allo!
Masko scrambles into the corner, ready to hit Collins with the Mask of Infamy.
Kohl: El Masko looking for that Mask of Infamy!
Masko let's out an inspired yell--
And gets cracked in the back of the head with a *real* shovel. The Answer stands on the apron, holding the shovel, impressed with his work.
Kohl: Where in the hell did Answer get a shovel?!
Beast: Who knows!? But it's resourceful, and it's legal!
Answer steps into the ring and nods to himself.
Kohl: He could have concussed Masko!
Daniel Collins makes it to his feet, clotheslines Answer out of the ring, and rolls Masko into the centre of the ring for the three count.
Kohl: Daniel Collins wins! New Hardcore Champion!
GCW United States Championship Match - The Gauntlet - By Simon Cade
Simon Cade © vs. Kidd West
“Hole” by Royal Blood begins to blare throughout the arena as the arena goes dark. Suddenly a spotlight hits the stage and we see Kidd West, his back turned to everyone wearing a leather jacket. He turns around and slowly walks down the ramp arm raised over his head with his sledgehammer held above him, staring at the crowds beside him. He takes a deep breath in and shakes his head. Standing up on the apron of the mat he wraps his arms around the ropes and then leans backwards on them allowing him to roll back over the top rope into the ring. He goes to the centre of the ring and slowly removes his jacket, tossing it to ringside, before awaiting his opponent.
“Christcontrol” by Cancer Killing Gemini begins to play as Simon Cade walks out, his theme song blasting through the arena, US Title wrapped around his waist. He makes a deliberate attempt to get as far away from the fans as possible. When he gets down the ramp, he'll lean on the ringpost nearest the steps, wrapping his arm around and looking out at the audience, before shaking his head and going up the steps. He then enters the ring, and sits in the corner closest to the entrance ramp, staring at his opponent.
Fink: “The following contest is The Gauntlet, and it is for the GCW United States Championship. Introducing first, the challenger. From Calgary, Alberta, Canada, weighing in at 176 lbs, Kidd West!”
Kidd West just stares at his opponent, awaiting the bell
Fink: “And his opponent… from Farmington, Connecticut, weighing in at 237 lbs, he is the current GCW United States Champion, Simon Cade!”
Simon Cade stands up, the US Title on his shoulder before begrudgingly handing the title to the referee, who then raises the belt high before handing it to an official at ringside, and then ringing the bell.
Kohl: “And the match… is underway.”
Beast: “The match? The gauntlet, you mean, is underw-”
As the commentators are talking, Kidd and Cade had begun brawling, rolling out of the ring and continuing to pummel each other on the outside, with Kidd bouncing Cade’s head off of the Spanish announce table, before then sending him into the ring post.
Kohl: “Oooh, Kidd just sent Cade crashing into the ringpost, that must’ve hurt.”
Beast: “If that did any real damage, then this gauntlet is going to be hell for both of these men.”
Kidd rolls Cade back into the ring, and then rolls in as well, both men now back on their feet. Kidd rushes Cade, and ducks a clothesline attempt, before rebounding off the ropes and nailing him with a flying clothesline.
Kohl: “Big flying clothesline there by Kidd West.”
Beast: “Or was that a forearm?”
Kohl: “No… pretty sure that was a clothesline.”
Beast: “That was definitely a forearm.”
Kohl: “Can we just move on?”
Kidd continues his assault on Cade, beating him into the mat with punch after punch, before lifting Cade up and running off the ropes. Cade ducks the second clothesline attempt, and catches Kidd with a snap scoop powerslam.
Kohl:”Nice counter by Cade, let’s see if he can capitalize on it.”
Cade begins to pummel West as he’s on the mat, laying in blow after blow, but West catches one of the punches and turns around, reversing the positioning, before they just begin to continually reverse each other and roll so they are on top, until they both end up falling out of the ring. Kidd is able to get up first, and goes back on the offensive, beating Cade down and throwing him into the ringpost once more, but this time Cade stays at the post as Kidd grabs a chair from near the commentator’s area.
Kohl: “Oh god, this does not look safe.”
Beast: “It doesn’t have to be safe, it has to be effective, which is what Kidd’s going for to get him the pin!”
Kidd swings the chair at Cade, but Cade almost moves out of the way just in time, with just a small portion of his left arm hit by the chair, the chair making a loud clash with the turnbuckle post. The second swing though, Cade isn’t so lucky, as Kidd catches him with a chair stab to the midsection, followed by a shot on the back. Kidd hits Cade a second, and then a third time on the back before he drops the chair and rolls Cade into the ring, then picks him up and sets him up, facing the turnbuckle.
Kohl: “Could this be… it is! Kidd’s looking for the Judge & Jury! Kidd could take the lead here!”
Kidd lifts Cade up for the Judge & Jury, and hits it, Cade’s neck and shoulders hitting the mat hard. Kidd rolls him over and covers…

3!
Kidd sits up, and the referee directs him to the corner, making sure Cade can stand before he allows them to go at it again.
Fink: “Kidd West has completed his first goal!”
Cade stands up, and tries to find his balance again, finally being able to stand without assist from the ropes. He still looks groggy, but then turns to the ref, and says that he’s ready, and he signals that the match can continue. Cade charges Kidd, who isn’t prepared for the rush, and lifts him into a college wrestling lift, before slamming him into the mat. He quickly grabs Kidd’s leg and stomps it numerous times, before dropping an elbow onto it. Kidd cries out briefly in pain, and Cade continues the assault on Kidd’s leg, before then picking him up and hitting a michinoku driver.
Kohl: “Wow, Cade with a burst of offense here, and after just being hit with the Judge & Jury too.”
Beast: “Maybe Cade was faking the grogginess a bit?”
Kohl: “I don’t think so, the Judge & Jury is one of the biggest finishers in GCW, I think he just wants to try and score a quick pin.”
Cade, in the meanwhile, picks Kidd up again and irish whips him. He looks to hit a back body drop, but Kidd sees this and catches Cade with a knee facebuster, before then capitalizing with an Eat Defeat.
Kohl: “Big counter by Kidd, let’s see if he can be quick to finishing a second goal.”
Cade stands up, holding his jaw, just in time to get hit with a spinning sole kick to the midsection, before Kidd then whips him into the turnbuckle. Cade goes back-first into the pad, and Kidd walks over before kneeing him in the midsection, and tossing him to the mat. Kidd begins to ascend to the top rope, and looks back at Cade, who is starting to get up, before diving off, hitting the standing Cade with a moonsault.
Kohl: “beautiful moonsault by Kidd!”
Beast: “Yeah, but a moonsault isn’t going to get him his second goal.”
Kohl: “That is true Beast, but this might!”
Kidd grabs the downed Simon Cade’s legs, and looks to go for a figure-4 leglock, but Cade reverses it by grabbing Kidd, and rolling him up in a small package pin.
1…
2…
Kickout!
Kidd tries to get up, but Cade gets up first and whips Kidd into the turnbuckle, before then charging into Kidd. Kidd, of course, moves out of the way and goes behind Cade, attempting to lift him for a german suplex. Cade counters, and rolls Kidd up with a schoolboy pin.
1…
Cade puts his feet on the ropes, trying to add leverage
2…
Kohl: “Cade with his feet on the ropes, how is that allowed?”
Beast: “There’s no DQs, how is the ref gonna yell at him for doing that?”
3!
Cade releases the pin and rolls outside before Kidd and attack him for cheating, as the ref attempts to restrain Kidd. Eventually, Kidd goes to his corner and Cade gets back into the ring. Both men tell the ref they’re ok to continue, and the match goes on, this time with both men being a bit more cautious about advancing. Both men get close to the middle, but Cade walks away instead and rolls out of the ring, and pulls a table out from under the ring. He goes to push it into the ring, but Kidd hits a baseball slide on it, sending it back into Cade’s face.
Kohl: “Almost a smart move by Cade, except for the fact that it caused him to get hit.”
Kidd rolls out of the ring, and picks up Cade, before body slamming him back onto the padded floor. He then sets up the table right in front of the apron, and rolls Cade back into the ring. Both men stand up at around the same time, and Kidd hits Cade with a forearm. Cade then retaliates with a forearm of his own. This continues for a few minutes before Cade takes a slight advantage, hitting 5 punches to the head, following with a midsection knee strike, and finishing with a lariat.
Kohl: “Cade with a nice combo there, apparently he calls that “The Past, Present, and Future”.”
Beast: “That...sounds like a pretty stupid name.”
Cade continues to attack Kidd, this time being able to hit a big shin breaker on Kidd. He then grabs the left leg of Kidd, and taunts to the crowd.
Kohl: “Cade may be looking to complete his second goal here, he may be looking for Revenge of the Damned!”
Cade attempts to lock in the Revenge of the Damned, but Kidd reverses it, sending him into the ropes. Kidd stands up, and counters a clothesline attempt by grabbing Cade’s left arm and locking in a rolling armbar.
Beast: “Wow, Kidd watched some UFC tapes before the match, it seems.”
Kohl: “Rolling armbar locked in, this is a tight hold here Cade may have to tap out!”
Cade struggles for a few seconds, attempting to get out, before he finally taps out.
Kohl: “W-Wow, Cade actually tapped to West’s rolling armbar!”
Fink: “Kidd West has finished his second goal!”
Beast: mumble mumble mumble “I need more food… Get me a grinder.”
Kohl: “Why am I going to buy you a grinder?”
Beast: “Because I know Kidd wants me to stay around as a commentator and also doesn’t want a death on a nationally-shown PPV.”
Kohl: “Fine, fine, Well, I’ll do it after this match.”
Meanwhile, Cade and Kidd have both stood up and seem ready to go. They both meet in the middle, and begin brawling, with nobody getting a clear advantage until Cade hits a big knee strike to the midsection of Kidd. Cade clubs him with a forearm, and then sets him up for a powerbomb.
Kohl: “Cade may be looking for a powerbomb here…”
Cade lifts Kidd up, and begins to run at the ropes
Kohl: “OH GOD! Cade seems to be looking to powerbomb him straight through the table on the outside!”
Cade almost gets to the ropes, but just in the nick of time Kidd reverses it into a hurricanrana, sending Cade over the top rope and almost through the table. Cade hangs onto the ropes however, and gets up to the apron. Kidd turns around to see Cade, and charges hoping to hit him and knock him off the apron, but Cade counters with a shoulder thrust before pulling Kidd over the top and onto the apron as well. They begin to brawl on the apron, theatrically playing it up a bit with the amount of steps back it takes them increasing with each punch.
Kohl: “This is do or die for Cade here, if Cade sends Kidd through the table, he still has a chance, but if Kidd sends him through, Kidd wins the US title.”
Beast: “And what happens if neither go through? Do you know the answer to that as well, Kohl?”
Finally, Cade kicks Kidd in the gut, and attempts to set up for a powerbomb, but Kidd refuses to be lifted up. After a few attempts by Cade, Kidd tries to lift Cade up for a back body drop, but Cade refuses to be lifted as well. Kidd gets out of the powerbomb predicament, and hits Cade once more in the head. Cade retaliates though with a clothesline, which knocks both men off of the apron, sending the both of them through the table with a mighty clash.
Beast: “Well Kohl, answer me this, what happens since both went through?”
Kohl: “I...I don’t know Beast. I don’t know, what’s the ruling on this?!”
Referees begin to crowd around the timekeeper’s area, seemingly intense arguments being made. They stop arguing though as Nigel Alexander walks down the ramp and joins the referees. He pulls Fink over and tells him something, and then tells the referee, with the crowd mostly in silent shock at what happened.
Fink: “Nigel Alexander has informed me that, because both men went through the table, Simon Cade has completed his second goal!”
Some of the crowd begins to cheer, but Fink raises his hand to try and calm them down.
Fink: “However… your winner, and NEW GCW UNITED STATES CHAMPION… “THE EXECUTIONER” KIDD WEST!”
“Hole” by Royal Blood begins to play as the referees drape the US Title over Kidd West, who has just began to move about.
Kohl: “I...What? I’m not sure how to feel about this…”
Beast: “I think it was the right call. I think Nigel made the right call there, both men went through, why not give both of them the goal completion?”
Kohl: “Well fans, whether you like it or not, Kidd West is the new GCW United States Champion.”
As West celebrates in the ring, the lights suddenly die out there is confusion and then they flick back on to reveal a hooded figure in the ring. West stumbles back in shock shaking his head, he approaches the figure and tries to peek under the hood when the lights suddenly shut off again. The lights turn back on and the hooded figure is gone. West raises his belt slowly, looking suspiciously around him
GCW Womens Championship Match - Normal - By Kenji Yamada
Maricia Coucheaux © vs. Chiyoko Uzuki
Fink: Ladies and gentlemen, the following contest is set for one fall and it is for the GCW women’s championship. Introducing first, the challenger, from Kirin Canyon, weighing in at 130 pounds, Chiyoko Uzuki!
*When "SUNKiSS DROP" hits, pink and white flower lights swirl around the arena. The white lights briefly center on stage where Chiyoko trots out, her hands on her hips as she bounces them from side to side. She then turns sideways and does a finger gun aimed down the ramp. She then trots to the ring in a dainty, girly run. Chiyoko enters the ring up the ringside stairs and through the middle ropes. From there, she skips around the ring once or twice before finally returning to the center and finishing her entrance with a short dance.*
Fink: And her opponent, from Monaco-Ville, Monaco, weighing in at 151 pounds, she is the current GCW women’s champion, Maricia Choucheaux!
*The echoes of "black sheep, come home" begin to bellow through the arena. The guitar chords ring through the arena, the spotlights swirl, and they converge on the stage, where Maricia stands. A smug smirk creeps across her face, and she begins to strut down to the ring, a lone spotlight guiding her. Every guitar chord sends a flash of light through the audience. She steps into the ring as the chorus starts, and the lights begin to shine in a rainbow of colours. She steps over to the corner, and stands on the middle rope, arms outstretched, the smug smile never leaving her face. She steps down, the music fades out, and she leans against the corner, waiting for the match to begin*
*With both women in the ring, the bell rings*
Kohl: Here we go Beast. Two of the best Women in GCW to date squaring off in singles action.
Beast: I couldn’t agree more Kohl. We’ve got the most destructive woman in history in Maricia, and we have Chiyoko.
Kohl: Beast, need I remind you that Chiyoko has been on one hell of a run lately.
*Both women lock up in a collar and elbow tie up and Maricia gains the upper hand, pushing Chiyoko to the corner and forcing the referee to break them up. Maricia smirks at Chiyoko, egging her on as the two lock up once more. It seems like Maricia is about to repeat the same thing until Chiyoko slips out, sending Marica into the corner instead. Chiyoko smiles back at Maricia who charges back at her. Chiyoko dodges out the way with a leg trip, sending her to the mat. The pair make it to their feet again and Chiyoko gains the upper hand by connecting with a spear to Maricia, making the champ roll out of the ring, Chiyoko sees here opportunity and hypes the crowd as she runs to the ropes, and crashes into Maricia with a suicide dive*
Kohl: What a way to kickoff the match with some high-octane action from Chiyoko. Can she keep it up?
Beast: She better do, or she’s going to be in for a bad time when Maricia gets a hold of her.
*Chiyoko waves to the crowd as she gets to her feet from the dive. She throws Maricia back into the ring and waits for her to stand up. As she does, Chiyoko runs in for a float-over DDT, but is met with a vicious clothesline by Maricia. Without hesitation, Maricia lifts Chiyoko back up and drops her with a Rain-Trigger. She goes for the pin…1…2…Chiyoko kicks out! Frustrated, Maricia knees Chiyoko a few times before standing up and gloating to the crowd*
Beast: What did I say Kohl. Now Chiyoko has to deal with an angry Maricia. We might as well call it now.
Kohl: Don’t be so hasty Beast, the match has only just got going.
*Maricia looks back at Chiyoko with evil intent in her eyes. She lifts her back up and throws her into the far corner before charging at her and connecting with a knee. She keeps Chiyoko in the corner and lifts her onto the top rope, giving her a quick uppercut to ensure she stays there. Chiyoko slumps forward in the corner as Maricia steps back the opposite corner, pointing directly at Chiyoko. She runs in, And drives her knees into Chiyoko with the Last Train to Paris. Chiyoko falls off the corner and thrives around in pain as Maricia goes for another pin…1…2…Chiyoko kicks out again*
Kohl: A vicious move by Maricia, driving her knees right into Chiyoko. But she still can’t pick up the pinfall yet.
*Maricia shakes her head and smiles at Chiyoko before getting her up once again. Chiyoko puts her fists up as she groggily tries to put up a fight. Maricia grabs her by the mouth and shouts “Give up” at her before sending her to the ropes for a Clothesline, but she is caught by a dropkick by Chiyoko. Maricia gets back up slightly dazed as Chiyoko hits another dropkick. Chiyoko begins to hype herself up as she hits a striking combo on Maricia, sending her to the mat for a third time. Chiyoko points to the crowd as she sees Maricia laying prone on the mat. She calms herself down and begins to jump slightly, getting herself ready for the heart-to-heart. She runs to Maricia, who suddenly stands back up and connects with a codebreaker before kicking back up into a bicycle kick*
Kohl: What a fake out by Maricia! This could be the end…1…2…CHIYOKO KICKS OUT! How did she do it?
Beast: What in the world is Chiyoko running on? She’s been through so much punishment it’s unbelievable!
*Maricia cannot believe it as she argues with the referee over the count speed. She slams her fists on the floor as she stares at
Chiyoko. She leaps back to her feet, screaming at Chiyoko to make it back to her feet. Chiyoko grabs hold of Maricia legs as a leverage as she struggles to make it back to her feet. Maricia pushes her off, forcing Chiyoko to make it back up on her own. As she does, Maricia takes one step back, waiting for her to turn around. She stares intensely at Chiyoko as she goes for Marie Antoinette…But misses as Chiyoko dodges out of the way! Maricia looks around confused before she is hit with a cutie patootie by Chiyoko. Chiyoko looks over at Maricia on the floor and then looks to the crowd who are all off their feet. Chiyoko runs to the corner as quickly as she can and forces herself to make it to the top. She makes her signature heart with her hand and then sets off for the Cupid’s arrow…AND CONNECTING! She goes for the pin…1…2…3! Chiyoko is the Women’s Champion!*
GCW International Championship Match - Ladder - By Kenji Yamada
Jensen © vs. Andrew Jordan
Fink: Ladies and gentlemen, the following contest is a ladder match for the GCW international Championship. Introducing first, the challenger, from Seoul, South Korea, weighing in at 245 pounds, Andrew Jordan!
* The arena lights go out as the sounds of Sandstorm erupt through the sound system. An orange glow begins to emit from the aisle as Andrew makes his way to the ring. He slides in and leans against the turnbuckle waiting for his opponent. *
Fink: And his opponent, from Portland, Oregon, weighing in at 217 pounds, he is the international champion, Jensen!
*The lights dim as the music begins blaring throughout the arena. As the music continues, varies colored strobe lights begin to flash on the stage along with some smoke. Soon a figure emerges with outstretched arms from the mixture of lights with his back to the crowd. After a few moments pause, Jensen turns and embraces the crowd. He makes his way down the ramp slowly taking in the crowds reaction while slowly bobbing his head to the beat of the music. The lights remained dim until he gets in the ring. He climbs onto the turnbuckle and once again embraces the crowd.*
*With Both men in the ring, the referee connects the title as it is hoisted in the air and the bell rings*
Kohl: Now this is a match that promises to be an instant classic. Andrew Jordan, the ex-MMA fighter who, after a hellacious fight with Kenji Yamada, was able to secure his rightful place as the number one contender and Jensen, who has been on a great run for his third international title reign.
Beast: There’s been a lot of hype going into this match Kohl. I can see these two leaving everything in that ring tonight.
*The match begins with a very respectable handshake as the two nod at each other. They both lock up in a collar and elbow as Jensen locks in a headlock. Andrew pushes him to the ropes as he leap frogs him on the rebound and hits a hip toss on him on the second return. Jensen quickly gets back up and hits a hip toss of his own before the pair meet in the middle once again in stalemate as the crowd applaud the performance*
Beast: Oh Boy Kohl. I can see we’re going to have one hell of a match on our hands tonight.
Kohl: Indeed, we will Beast. I can’t wait to see the next sequence.
*Both Andrew and Jensen smile at each other as they lock up once more. This time Jensen slips around into a back hold before attempting for a German suplex. Andrew counters by rolling Jensen over him and letting him turn around as he connects with a Yakuza kick. Jensen is dazed as he rolls to the corner and leans on the bottom. Andrew waits for Jensen to slowly make it back to his feet before charging in with his knee. But Jensen dodges out of the way and turns around to hit a shotgun dropkick to the rebounding Andrew as he collides with the corner and rolls out. Jensen sees Andrew on the outside and nods to the crowd, mouthing “you know what’s going to happen.” He runs for the ropes and leaps over them to hit a suicide summersault senton on Andrew as the pair crash into a ladder that was situated beside Andrew*
Kohl: A great senton there by Jensen but that landing wasn’t as good as it could have been.
*Initially there is little movement from both of them as the referee tries to move the ladder out of the way. Jensen is the first to make some movement as he makes it back to his feet and points to the crowd. He grabs the ladder he had just run into and slides it into the ring. Andrew slowly makes his way back to his feet but is met by a couple of punches by Jensen who throws him back into the ring. He turns to the announcers table that is behind him and smiles at Kohl and Beast saying “sorry guys, I’ve got to use this table for something” before pulling apart the table, creating a smooth surface*
Beast: Why do I feel like this is déjà vu Kohl?
*Jensen, satisfied with his handiwork, turns to get back into the ring as he climbs back onto the apron. Suddenly he is met by Andrew who drives a ladder into him, sending him back outside. Andrew looks up at the title and shakes his head before placing the ladder in the corner and rolling out the ring to throw Jensen back in. Once they are both back in, Andrew lifts Jensen back onto his feet and grabs him in a powerbomb position. He lifts him up and connects with a tiger driver before rolling out and hitting a seated Jensen with a forearm. He makes it back to his feet and urges Jensen to stand up. Jensen groggily stands back up with his back to Andrew who claps his hands together before executing a German suplex directly into the ladder in the corner, sending Jensen’s head into the steel. Andrew moves swiftly out of the way as Jensen falls to the mat and the ladder moves out of the corner*
Kohl: What a German suplex by Andrew Jordan! He’s really in the driver’s seat now.
*Andrew looks to the corner and begins to climb. Once he makes it to the top, he looks down at Jensen but doesn’t jump. He looks over to the ladder that is resting on the ropes and nods very slowly. He grabs the ladder and sets it up before jumping from the corner onto the ladder, giving himself extra height. He stands on the very top of the ladder and points to the title that is in the middle before leaping off for a shooting star press…But Jensen moves letting Andrew crash stomach first into the mat*
Beast: Jesus Christ! Andrew Jordan could be dead Kohl! Someone go and check on the man!
*Jensen stares at Andrew who is thriving around the ring in pain. He looks up at the belt in the sky and gets back to his feet. He grabs the ladder and position’s it in the middle of the ring. Jensen begins to climb the ladder but struggles due to the poor landing from the senton. As he slowly makes his ascent, Andrew begins to stir, noticing Jensen who is nearly at the top. Using the remains of his energy after the failed shooting star, Andrew darts to the other end of the ladder and climbs as quickly as he can. The pair meet each other at the top and a stare down begins. They bring up their fists and begin to exchange punches. One from Jensen, one from Andrew. The punches keep reigning in until Jensen begins to gain some momentum and hit more at once. Andrew is stunned as he lies on the top of the ladder. Jensen takes a moment to assess the situation before going to push Andrew off the ladder. As he reaches out to him, Andrew surprises him with a kick to the side of the head, stunning Jensen. Andrew looks at the crowd before grabbing Jensen in a suplex position…and suplexing him through the announcers table*
Kohl: OH MY GOD! JENSEN WAS JUST DRIVEN THROUGH OUR TABLE!
Beast: I TOLD IT WAS DÉJÀ VU KOHL! I TOLD YOU!
*Both Andrew and Jensen stay on the floor for a good minute or so. The crowd begin to urge on the pair to see who will stir first. The medical team start to make their way to both of them as Andrew begins to sit back up. The crowd are electric as Andrew waves off the medical team and grabs the first rung of the ladder before forcing himself to climb the ladder. Every step of the ladder creates more pain for Andrew as he continues to will himself up. He finally makes it to the top of the ladder and reaches for the international title…Retrieving it from the hook and winning the match and the title!
GCW Championship Match - Normal - By Darius Seeiso
Darius Seeiso © vs. Mason James
As "Freak on A Leash" starts, the crowd begins to cheer. Mason appears and stands, looking around to everyone in the crowd. His eyes laser focused, he begins to stomp towards the ring. He gets in the ring over the top rope and screams to the crowd, pounding his chest as he does.
As verse starts, and guitar comes in, deep red ambient light. Darius rises out of the stage, as the vocals begin. He looks up as the spotlights hit him. He has his title draped over one shoulder, and animal fur draped over the other. Darius saunters down to the ring, looking generally unimpressed. As Darius enters the ring, he shakes his head. He stands in the middle, and snarls at the crowd. Darius raises the title, and nods his head. He then moves slowly over to the corner, drapes his title over the top rope, and kneels.
Fink: Ladies and Gentlemen, the following contest, is for the GCW Heavyweight Championship!
The crowd cheers as the spotlights fall on the two competitors, and Howard Finkel.
Fink: Introducing first, the challenger. From Derby, England. He stands six-feet, eight-inches tall. He weighs three-hundred-and-one pounds. He is 'The Monster In The Shadows', Mason James!
Mason steps closer to the centre of the ring, and postures up.
Fink: And introducing the champion, from Maseru, Lesotho. He stands six-feet, five-inches tall. He weighs two-hundred-and-sixty-five pounds. He is the Night's King, Darius Seeiso!
Darius walks into the centre of the ring, about a foot away from Mason, and raises his title. Mason stands stoic, not fazed by Darius in the slightest. Darius hands off the title, still standing in front of Mason.
Kohl: The referee calls for the bell, and this match is underway.
Darius and Mason stand toe to toe in the centre of the ring. The crowd swells to a raucous applause, simply at the sight of the massive Mason James, squaring off against the champion, Darius Seeiso.
Kohl: The tension is palpable. These are two men who are at the top of their physical games, two powerhouses!
Beast: Mason stands 6'8, 301 pounds. Darius, 6'5, 265 pounds. This match, by all accounts is going to be one of the most hard hitting, physically rough matches we've had in a while.
Kohl: No Ian Dawson, no Maricia out here at ringside? This is going to be pure unbridled mayhem.
Beast: Kohl, Mayhem was the *last* pay per view...
Darius and Mason look out to the cheering crowd, and they both kind of acknowledge the crowd. No smiles, nor grimaces, just indifference.
Kohl: You can see here, the two men are looking to the crowd now, but don't expect to see a lot of that. These men know that the GCW Universe can't save either one of these men from the other--
Beast: Of course they can't Kohl, and that being said, these men would be stupid to take their eyes off each other!
As Mason surveys the crowd he nods. Darius takes notice, and cracks Mason with a headbutt.
Kohl: And here we go! Darius with a headbutt, Mason comes back with a kick to the gut though!
Darius hunches over, and Mason quickly follows up the kick with a thunderous club to the back of Darius. Darius quickly rolls out of the ring to collect himself.
Kohl: Darius trying to start this match off with a sort of cheap shot, and Mason made him pay for it!
Beast: Darius isn't gonna be able to beat Mason with brute strength. He has to get clever.
Darius takes a moment to collect his thoughts, nods to himself, and slides back into the ring. Mason goes to grab Darius, but Darius quickly ducks his head out of the ring, prompting the referee to try and pull Mason back.
Beast: See, I think Darius is going to try and use every rule in the book to his advantage. If Mason gets ahead of himself, and loses sight of the goal, he could get himself disqualified!
Darius leans back into the ring, and finally locks up with Mason. Although there's a struggle, Mason ultimately forces Darius back into the corner. The referee separates the two, and Darius lands a clap, which echoes throughout the arena.
Kohl: What-- how-- what in the world would compel you to slap a man the size of Mason James?
Beast: Balls of Adamantium, Kohl...
Mason charges for Darius, but Darius quickly rolls out of the ring, goading Mason. Mason goes to step over the top rope, but Darius jumps, grabs Mason's ankle, and drags him over the top rope. Mason crashes hard onto the concrete outside the ring, and Darius begins putting the boots to Mason.
Kohl: This is the clever strategy you were talking about, Beast. Keep Mason on his back, and he can't do much!
Beast: I've got a new found respect for Darius, after what happened with Sway. That respect will only grow if he manages to beat Mason here tonight.
Darius rolls in at a count of four and pleads for the referee to count faster. Mason gets up and rolls in at a count of six, only to be met with more boots from Darius. Darius rolls Mason into the middle of the ring for a pin, but Mason defiantly kicks out before even a one count. Darius quickly transitions to a rear chin lock, driving his knee into the back of Mason's neck.
Kohl: Beast, do you think wearing Mason down slowly is the key? Or should Darius be going harder on Mason here?
Beast: Mason is a big guy, and while his stamina is good, it's nowhere near the level that Darius' is. If Darius wants to make this match easier, he should draw it out so that he wears Mason out.
Mason gradually works to his feet. He hits Darius in the stomach with an elbow. Another elbow, and Darius' grip loosens. He goes for another elbow, and Darius instinctively grabs Mason's beard, and drags him down to the mat.
Kohl: Referee reprimanding Darius, telling him to keep from pulling hair and such.
Beast: Do you think Darius cares? He gets disqualified or counted out, he keeps his title. He retained his International Championship against Edgar the same way!
Darius jumps, and lands a knee drop to the throat of Mason. He keeps his knee on Mason, going for a pin, but Mason kicks out at one. Darius hooks Mason's arm, flips him over, and locks in a Camel Clutch.
Kohl: Darius seems to be targeting Mason's neck here, and he's doing a decent job of keeping the behemoth down!
Mason begins to grow frustrated, and works up to his feet, Darius still hanging off his neck. Mason shifts his body weight, swings Darius around his side, and hits a sidewalk slam. Mason quickly works up to his feet, and stumbles into the corner. Darius staggers over to the opposite corner. Mason charges, and hits a massive avalanche splash.
Kohl: Beast, did you see that!? Mason hitting that splash in the corner shifted the ring a few inches.
Beast: I've said it once, I'll say it again. A man that big, is not meant to move that quickly.
Darius staggers out of the corner, as Mason hits the ropes.
Kohl: This isn't going to end well!
Mason goes for a clothesline, but Darius counter's with a dropkick to the knee. Mason falls forward, and catches his neck on the middle rope. He quickly rises to his feet, clutching his throat, and stumbles backwards into the centre of the ring, where Darius plants him with a jumping neckbreaker.
Kohl: 2319! With the damage done to Mason's neck, it's going to be interesting to see how much Darius continues to target it!
Darius slides over Mason for the cover, but only gets a one and a half.
Beast: Darius is smart, targeting Mason's neck. If he can get Mason up for the Night Driver, after all that damage to the neck, Darius should be able to win off that.
Darius rolls Mason over, puts a knee in his back, and cranks back on the neck. The ref notices Mason's leg is under the bottom rope, and starts counting Darius for a disqualification. Darius lets go at four, and begins to scale the middle rope.
Kohl: What's Darius doing here?
Mason makes it to his feet, and Darius jumps off, hitting Mason in the back of the head with an enziguri.
Beast: Something new from Darius! Changing up his game to beat Mason!
Darius squats in the corner, stalking Mason, waiting for him to get up. Mason makes it to his feet, Darius charges. Mason pops Darius into the air and clocks him out of the air with a clothesline.
Kohl: Mason caught Darius with that lifting clothesline! This could turn the match around.
Mason begins to shake off the effects of Darius' offence, as Darius crawls into the corner. Mason charges and crashes into Darius with another avalanche splash. Darius stumbles out of the corner, Mason hits the ropes, and rebounds with a thunderous big boot.
Kohl: Mason is building momentum!
Mason picks Darius up, and hits a massive belly to belly suplex, holding on to hit a second, and a third. He stands and begins to pace behind Darius.
Kohl: Mason looking for the Mason Massacre! This is it!
Mason picks Darius up for the Mason Massacre, but Darius slides behind him, and hits a forearm to the back of the neck.
Kohl: Darius counters!
Mason drops to a knee, and Darius hits him with a quick and impactful Royal Fury to the back on Mason's head.
Kohl: Royal Fury!
Darius crawls over Mason for the pin.
Kohl: 1!
2!
No!
Mason kicks out, and Darius falls back, exhausted. Darius stands and begins to drag Mason for his feet, signalling for the Night Driver.
Kohl: Mason James kicking out of that Royal Fury was amazing! Not many people can survive the onslaught that Darius is capable of, much less survive that wicked knee!
Darius brings Mason to his feet, and clocks him with a slap that rings throughout the arena.
Beast: Again with the slaps!
Darius slaps Mason again, and again. The crowd counts with every slap.
3!
4!
5!
6!
7!
8!
9!
Darius winds up for the tenth slap--
But Mason clobbers him with a thunderous clothesline.
Kohl: Mason nearly took Darius' head off there!
Mason begins to pace back and forth. Darius staggers to his feet, and Mason absolutely destroys him with a second clothesline. Darius begins rising to his feet, clearly disoriented.
Beast: Mason might have Darius' number here!
Mason charges for another clothesline, but Darius pops up and hits him with another dropkick. Mason stumbles back, phased, hits the ropes and comes back with another clothesline, flooring Darius.
Kohl: This is the most resilient we have ever seen Mason!
Mason drags Darius to his feet by his hair, with anger in his eyes. He stares into Darius' eyes, furious. Darius stares back, and smiles, revealing that his mouth is bleeding slightly. Darius chuckles, and spits in Mason's face.
Beast: Holy shit!
Kohl: Oh my god, Darius!
Mason, in a fit of rage, nails a stiff forearm, and snatches Darius into the reverse DDT position.
Kohl: This is it!
Mason lifts Darius up, and drops him down with the Mason Massacre.
Beast: Mason Massacre!
Kohl: The pin! One! Two! Three!
Beast: New champion!
Mason slowly makes it to his feet. Darius' blood and spit slowly dripping down his face. The referee hands Mason the title as Mason's music starts playing.
Kohl: Mason is GCW Heavyweight Champion!
Beast: He did it on his own too! Ian Dawson wasn't out here tonight!
Kohl: A surprising cap to a great night of GCW action! That's all for tonight! From Los Angeles, California, I'm Terry Kohl.
Beast: I'm Beast Jackson, and I'm going to catering before Mason gets back there.
Kohl: Goodnight everybody!
