Wrestling Style:
Chiyoko's a high flier. Her strength isn't anything impressive, so she tries to makes up for it with showmanship and flashy moves. She also tries to overcome her lack of power by using moves that utilize the force of gravity, or moves that shift physical momentum onto her opponents instead.
10 Trademark Moves For Match Writing
1) Glomp (Spear) - (Gif: Charlotte) If this move connects, it's usually followed by Chiyoko loudly yelling "GLOMP!"
2) Pele Kick (Gif: AJ Styles)
3) Striking combo (Video: AJ Styles) - More of a comeback move to hype herself up.
4) La Magistral Craddle Pin (Video: Dean Ambrose)

Signature Moves:
- Cutie Patootie (Hip Attack) - (Gif: Fukin Kitazawa) A hip attack to the opponent's face. She usually leg sweeps the foe beforehand to get them on their knees so she has an easier time actually hitting them, but sometimes she skips this step if she needs to hit it out of desperation.
- Heart-to-Heart (Running Shooting Star Press) - (Video: Ricochet) - She braces herself and bounces a few times in place before running up and flipping into the move.
Finisher Moves:
- The R-18 (Octopus Hold) - (Video: AJ Lee)
- Cupid's Arrow (Corkscrew Shooting Star Press) - (Gif: Adrian Neville) - Before executing the move, she points her arms up and makes a heart with her hands.
Entrance Music: SUNKiSS DROP by Junko Karashima & Alison Wade
Entrance: When "SUNKiSS DROP" hits, pink and white flower lights swirl around the arena. The white lights briefly center on stage where Chiyoko trots out, her hands on her hips as she bounces them from side to side. She then turns sideways and does a finger gun aimed down the ramp. She then trots to the ring in a dainty, girly run. Chiyoko enters the ring up the ringside stairs and through the middle ropes. From there, she skips around the ring once or twice before finally returning to the center and finishing her entrance with a short dance.
She also wears a cape and bow in her entrance that she removes before matches.
Picture Base: Mini of the Weather Girls idol group.
Character Bio:
Born in the United States as April Suzuki, she was an average child of an average family. She enjoyed gymnastics and video games and generally spent most of her time existing. Around 11 years of age, her parents encouraged her to try out for a local audition held by a talent scout. Meant to gauge the performance skills and star potential of all who participated, April's presentation was judged as average in all areas - except her boundless enthusiasm. In the end, regardless of her lack of skill, she was recruited to the agency Kirin Canyon. Though KiriCan hosted a variety of different talents, their goal at the time was to bring Japan's devoted idol scene to America in hopes of breaking into an untapped market. Ambitious, the group invested their time into training many other recruits like April, but their plan was unsuccessful. April herself played a few bit parts in commercials and children's shows - and maybe a few musical covers here and there ((probably Kidz Bop lmao)) - but any sort of fame was small time. Though she did acquire a few skills in both acting and minor stunt work, she withdrew from entertainment halfway into high school to focus on her school work.
After graduating from college, April sought to pay off the rest of her debt as quickly as she could. She contacted KiriCan again, hoping to take on a few small parts for a quick buck. Coincidentally, KiriCan, once again looking to break into the next untapped market, had their sights set on integrating their idol idea into the world of professional wrestling. The only problem was that no one contracted was willing to go through with it - the child actors were too young, while the older talent wasn't too keen on getting punched in the face. April was also hesitant when the offer was given to her, but... after some convincing and several conferences, KiriCan agreed to help pay off her debt if she represented them in the ring. Interested in the opportunity, April took the deal. Adapting her gymnastics and stunt work into wrestling ability, she took up the name Chiyoko Uzuki and donned the persona of a tokusatsu-esque magical girl idol.
Personality:
Though experienced with the entertainment industry, she's a bit intimidated by the world of pro wrestling, causing her to be a bit uncertain, lacking confidence and sometimes panicking. However, with encouragement and support, she reveals herself to be an energetic girl who desires to do her best. Playing up her idol character, she greatly values friendship, keeping friends close and always looking to make more. She's more than willing to engage in friendly competition, but... both in and out of character, she's a bit of an oversensitive weenie. A normally passive person, she's easily intimidated by other wrestlers that present themselves as spooky, hardcore, or all around mean - especially if they're mean to her or a friend. Though easy to get her down, she usually gets over her hurt feelings after a good cry and some self care. She often bounces back to her normal self after a day or three, depending on the circumstances.
Quirks:
- Outside of the ring, she's usually found with her manager and agent, Bill Pryce, along with her trainer, Casey Calhoun.
- Chiyoko's a bit squeamish; seeing a little blood won't bother her, but she can't handle looking at awful injuries like open wounds, limbs bending the wrong way, etc. Because of this (and not wanting to put others out of action), she'll back off if her opponent seems to be injured during a match.
- She usually takes losses pretty hard, reacting to her defeat with varying degrees of crying and tears. However, this depends on the opponent, situation and stakes.
- If the opponent looks friendly enough, she'll spread her arms out and offer a hug before the match starts.
- When idle, she sometimes presses her legs close together and does small hops up in down in place. Affectionately nicknamed "the Bunny Hop," she usually does this same bounce before hitting a running move when the opponent is down - usually her running shooting star press, the Heart to Heart.
- If her opponent is knocked down or out of the ring, she'll do a small dance into heart hands, though this is less of a taunt against her opponent and more of her charming the audience. She does other sillier poses too, though they can become hilariously aggressive when she's irritated or determined.
- She sometimes tends to do over exaggerated anime fight yelling when hitting or taking moves - particularly heavy hitting ones.
Specialty Matches: Holiday themed matches with fun, festive props. Also open to softcore matches - like a pool noodle death match or a pillow fight match. (She's surprisingly competent and uncharacteristically ferocious in the latter for some reason...)
