Kohl: Good evening Ladies and Gentlemen and welcome to GCW Vindication live from Edmonton. Alberta Canada! I’m Kohl and with me as always is Beast Jackson.
Beast: Good evening folks. Hey Kohl, are you ready for the second round of the tag tournament?
Kohl: I sure am Beast. After so many surprises and upsets last week, we could be in for some amazing action tonight. But first, we have a one on one match between the women’s champion Chiyoko Uzuki and Ayumi.
Beast: Ayumi hasn’t really been present in the women’s division so she might have a lot to do to beat our women’s champion.
Kohl: Don’t discredit her too quickly Beast. She has a great spirit in her so she won’t back down from a fight. Anyway, here they come now.
*******************************************************************************************************
Chiyoko vs Ayumi
The opening match of the night and one of the most technically sound one’s to date. Ayumi had not lost any ring ability after not appearing for a while and was able to keep up with the champion Chiyoko. Both Women put on a great contest with no one person seeming like they could take the upper hand. The champion seemed to be alright though as she kept using her quicker speed to avoid Ayumi’s strikes. This led to Ayumi eventually tiring, giving Chiyoko the opportunity she had been waiting for. She connected with the cutie patootie before climbing the corner to go for he Cupid’s arrow. However, Ayumi was able to move out of the way and seamlessly lock in the Ayumi lock on a surprised Chiyoko. Ayumi kept the hold in and was able to force the champion to tap out giving her the upset victory.
*******************************************************************************************************
Kohl: A surprise upset here as Ayumi picks up the victory against the women’s champion.
Beast: Well I’ve got to say that I’m impressed. I didn’t think Ayumi had it in her. Surely this means she’ll have a title match in the future?
Kohl: We will have to wait and see Beast, but right now we have our first second round tag team match pitting Maricia and
Camber against Daniel and El Masko.
Beast: Daniel and Masko had a very surprising victory last week against the seemingly strong team of Kenji Yamada and John Styles but they just didn’t click on the day.
Kohl: And Maricia and Camber have formed a sort of “neutral alliance” and have decided to work together. Let’s see who will make it to the finals.
*******************************************************************************************************
Maricia and Camber vs Masko and Collins
The second intergender match in the tournament, Maricia made herself very clear that she was the stronger one of the four competitors by gaining control quickly on Masko who seemed to be holding back slightly as to not hurt Maricia. This was a big mistake however as Maricia kept Masko away from Daniel and closer to Camber as the pair tagged in and out constantly to keep each other fresh. Masko seemed to be in trouble until he was finally able to make a small comeback as he countered Camber’s Dragon’s desire into a hug-plex. With this separation Masko was able to tag in his fresh partner Dan who went to town on the two women. Daniel kept Maricia out of the action as he built up his momentum on Camber before hitting a big man calling the shots on her. He goes for the pin but it is broken up by Maricia. Masko came to save the day though as he took Maricia out of the ring leaving Daniel the opportunity to hit the Get Dunked on Camber for the win.
******************************************************************************************************
Kohl: A stunning match comes to an end as El Masko and Daniel Collins are the first team into the Eckert and Haggerty tag team
tournament finals.
Beast: How did a bunch of bumbling buffoons make it this far? I have absolutely no idea.
Kohl: How can they be buffoons when they’ve made it to the finals?
Beast: Oh shut up Kohl just talk about the next match.
Kohl: Alright then partner. Up next is the former GCW heavyweight champion Darius Seeiso taking on The Belfast Brawler.
Beast: Ha! This match can only go one way. This guy doesn’t know what’s going to hit him.
*******************************************************************************************************
Darius vs Belfast Brawler
Darius walks down to the ring, shaking his head, clearly distracted.
Kohl: Darius looks a bit off here, Beast...
Beast: He hasn't been the same since he lost that title. I barely see him backstage, he missed his match last week against Mason. It's upsetting and worrying.
Darius, in one fluid motion, slides into the ring, chucks his tag title to the time keeper, and floors the Belfast Brawler with a punch.
Kohl: Well that's one way to start a match!
Darius snatches the Brawler to his feet as the referee calls for the bell. He lifts Brawler into a suplex position, before dropping him stomach first on the top rope.
Beast: Darius fighting like he doesn't have time to waste!
Darius sprints, bounces off the opposite ropes, and sends Brawler flying off the apron with a big boot. He then quickly glides over to the centre of the ring, and squats down, not taking his eyes off Brawler.
Kohl: Brawler has been knocked for a loop here! He's gonna have a tough time getting back into this!
Brawler stands, and rolls back into the ring. As he stumbles to his feet, Darius rocks him with a thunderous slap. Brawler stumbles back, bouncing off the ropes, and Darius hits him with another overhead slap.
Kohl: Disrespect!
Beast: And a whole lot of damage!
Darius grabs Brawler by the jaw, and slaps him again, effectively knocking him out on his feet. Darius shakes his head, and charges off the ropes, coming back with a Royal Fury.
Kohl: Royal Fury!
Beast: That nearly took The Belfast Brawler's head off!
Darius drops to a knee, and placed his other knee on Brawler's chest.

Kohl: That's it! Darius disposing of The Belfast Brawler in short order, here tonight.
Darius rolls out of the ring as soon as the bell rings, and begins walking up the apron while the fans cheer.
Beast: Not sticking around to celebrate either!
Lola Sparkle emerges from the backstage area, microphone in hand. She's surrounded by security.
Kohl: Lola, I don't think going for an interview is the best move. Remember what happened last time?
Beast: Lola should realize if Darius wanted to hurt her, that security would slow him down for about 5.8 seconds, no more.
Darius stops as he sees Lola in front of him, shaking his head. Lola, timidly raises her microphone.
LS: Darius, you have your championship rematch with Mason at GCW One. What are your plans going into that match?
Darius stares at Lola, almost staring through her. He leans down, into the microphone.
DS: ...
He smiles at Lola. A sinister smile, disingenuous. His eyes still cold, his jaw clenched. The smile slowly fades. He shakes his head, and sighs. Lola slowly begins to speak again.
LS: Darius, when you face Mason at GCW One--
DS: No.
Lola goes to speak again, but Darius snatches the microphone. The security guards tense up at Darius' every movement.
DS: No... Not anymore... I am not speaking, to you people, any, more.
He hands the microphone to a security guard, and hops off the stage, walking around to the back.
Kohl: Darius sure has changed, what does this mean for his rematch against Mason James at one?
Beast: I don’t know but I don’t think it will be pretty.

*Cut to a vignette*
We see a close up of a woman’s face; it’s young. Far too young for eyes that old. Her eyes are angry, filled with rage and hatred. Yet, on her lips, there remains a smile.
“I seen it all.”
Now we cut from the face; it’s that same woman, wrestling in what looks like tiny backyard promotion. She has her opponent in a headlock, but he elbows her, and forces her away. She bounces back off the ropes, going in with a clothesline. When it connects, it’s a smash cut to a different arena, much larger. The woman is still hitting her clothesline, against a different person. Her opponent crashes to the mat in a loud thud, which cues a cut back to the woman sitting still. It’s the same angle as the face, zoomed out to see her full head and the top of her broad shoulders.
“The best.”
Another cut, to another match. This one seems to be damn technical; the woman is in a figure four, but powers up and out, turning it into a stepover toe hold. Another cut shows her doing a crossbody onto four other wrestlers.
“And the worst.”
It’s a completely different match; both her and her opponent are covered in blood, slash marks around their face and arms. The ring is filled with broken glass and a dozen different objects, including a dildo and a chainsaw. The woman has a steel baseball bat, raised high, and slams it downwards towards her kneeling opponent. We cut back to her, sitting, a full body shot, baseball bat in hand. She’s sitting on… something.
“And now, I’m coming to Global Championship Wrestling.”
The camera zooms out, and we see what she is sitting on: Bodies. Beaten, broken and bloodied, battered and bruised. We continue out, the music building to a crescendo. When we see the full pile, the camera cuts to black, and we hear a giddy whisper:
"say my name"

Kohl: Welcome back to GCW Vindication where we are just getting set up for our second match in the second round of the Eckert and Haggerty tag team tournament. This match will see the odd pair of The Answer and Simon Cade taking on the strong favourites of the entire tournament, Andreas Landa and Jensen.
Beast: These are some of the top up and coming men in GCW at the moment. I think we can expect a classic.
*******************************************************************************************************
Jensen and Andreas vs Simon and Answer
By far one of the best matches of the night. Simon and Answer had a lot of thinking to do as Andreas instantly took control of the match singlehandedly. Jensen didn’t see much action to begin with as Andreas seemed to want to prove that he could do it all himself. This did trip him up though as the Answer was able to distract the big man as Simon targeted the knee of Andreas. With him essentially demobilised, Simon and Answer spent more time on the knee of Andreas, keeping him away from Jensen. This seemed to be a tough challenge as even with the targeted knee, Andreas had the strength to push Simon and Answer out of the way for the hot tag to Jensen. Jensen really brought everything in this match as he flew everywhere with no thought about his well-being. He built his momentum enough to hit the shotgun dropkick and began setting up for censored colours but the Answer distracted him. Jensen pushed Answer down to the floor but was met by a low blow by Simon which the ref did not see. This gave Simon the opportunity for a reality check to be hit. Andreas tried to save Jensen but his foot was held onto by the Answer which meant that Simon could get the three count for his team.
******************************************************************************************************
Kohl: I can’t believe this Beast! Simon and Answer have beaten the tournament favourites.
Beast: This show is just full of upsets. What’s next?
Kohl: Well Beast, we have the match pitting the GCW World Champion Mason James against John Styles. John has a guaranteed title shot at Mason’s championship but has decided to not use it yet.
Beast: What a great show to end the night on Kohl. Let’s get this match going!
******************************************************************************************************
“Freak on a Leash” by Korn begins to play as Mason emerges from backstage, the world title over his shoulder. The crowd begin to boo as walks down to the ring ignoring them all. He enters the ring and shouts at the crowd while holding his title in the air. He keeps hold of it and turns to the entrance ramp awaiting John’s entrance.
However instead of John, Ian Dawson makes an appearance on the entrance ramp. The crowd are confused as Ian holds a microphone to his hand.
Ian: Hello Mason, did you miss me? I know I’ve been gone for a few weeks and I wasn’t able to be with you for your world championship match, but I am back and ready to guide you down the path of destruction again.
Ian makes his way down the ramp and into the ring smiling at Mason who simply stares back at him.
Ian: I always knew that you could it Mason. You have been my best student ever since you rejected your so-called friends in England and began to listen souly to me. That is what I liked so much about you Mason, you were always ready to learn. I lead you down a destructive route and you followed and now look at you, you’re the God damn World Champion! I helped you to this point Mason, and I believe it is my duty to help you hold that title for the foreseeable future. So what do you say Mason, are you ready to destroy this company piece by piece?
Ian extends his hand in a handshake as Mason looks at it. The crowd are anxious to see Mason decision as he spends a while thinking. Eventually, Mason extends his hand out and the two shake hands.
Ian: I knew you would agree with m-
Ian is cut off as Mason suddenly pulls Ian in for a Belly to Belly suplex, followed by a second and then a third! The crowd are silent as they watch as Mason stands back up and picks up the microphone, leaving Ian broken on the floor.
Mason: You…Did nothing for me! Every time I was close to winning, I would lose at the last hurdle. You would always ridicule me and say it was “my fault.” So why is it that when you leave, I become the FUCKING WORLD CHAMPION! I don’t need you Ian, I never did need you. *He turns to the entrance ramp* John, don’t even think about coming out here. I am not wasting my time to give you a warmup match before your title shot. If we are going to fight, we’ll do it when you cash in. But for now, let me show you exactly what I shall do to you when we do meet.
With that Mason drops the microphone and picks up Ian in a gorilla press hold. He runs over to the ropes before throwing Ian over the top rope and through the announcers table. Mason proceeds to scream at the crowd before walking back up the ramp with his title over his head.
Kohl: Oh my God Beast! Mason has just murdered his friend right in front of us!
Beast: I knew Mason was powerful but Jesus Christ I didn’t expect him to throw Ian directly at us.
Kohl: The message has definitely been sent to John Styles. He’s going to have to pick a good time to cash in his championship match.
Beast: But what about Darius, surely this was also done to scare him.
Kohl: Quite possibly Beast. Who know though. Do you really want to question Mason?
Beast: No thank you Kohl. Anyway, I guess the show is over?
Kohl: Yes it is partner. Thank you for joining us everyone for GCW vind-

‘Hole’ by Royal Blood blasts out across the arena as Kidd West makes his way to the stage, US Title in hand, flanked by two men in matching black suits. He raises his title up in the air and starts walking down to the ring with his men. As he rolls in, he snatches a mic from the ring announcer and stands central in the ring.
West: I just had to run here from Ignition across town, to announce something very important.
West clears his throat and pats his title
West: The US Open Challenge has been a success so far, hardly anyone has stood in my way of great importance and I very much doubt anyone will be able to mount a challenge that will successfully dethrone me!
West and his men laugh
West: But. There is one thing that has kept me on my toes, kept me worrying at night. And that is the Hooded Man. Whoever this man is, he has come out and intimidated me time after time. And with fears for my security, I took it upon myself to recruit two gentlemen into my service. These are the newest additions to The Conspiracy, and will serve as my bodyguards in the time to come. Darren and Danny Williams, the Williams Security Agency.
Darren and Danny wave to the crowd.
West: So… Hooded Man… if you are brave enough, do you think you want to come out here and make an appearance? Or are you too cowardly to do so now the odds aren’t in your favour. Come on, who are you? Simon Cade? John Styles? El Masko!?
The lights go out in the arena. When they come back on the hooded man, holding a steel chair is standing right in front of Kidd West. He turns the chair over to reveal that the chair has the words Die Kidd Die spray painted on it.
The figure then removes the hood to show Owen Hawes underneath it.
Terry Kohl: Oh, my god! It’s Owen Hawes! The Nightmare is back!
Beast: And he has that look in his eye, Kohl. He wants Kidd West!
Kidd West stumbles back as the Williams Security Agency rush in to attack Hawes. He hits the first one, Darren in the ribs with the chair, and then hits him in the back, knocking the suited giant down. The second brother, Danny grabs Hawes from behind, forcing him to drop the chair. Hawes quickly reverses and has Danny Williams in a reverse waist lock which he then turns into a release German suplex. He runs over to hit Danny with a Lucid Dream but is met with a clothesline from Kidd West. West picks Hawes up but is met with a quick german suplex. With West down, Hawes makes a gun motion with his hand and pulls the trigger at West. Hawes runs for a Lucid Dream, but Danny Williams pulls West out of the ring.
Kidd West and the Conspiracy leave the arena, leaving Owen Hawes standing alone in the ring with the audience going crazy for their former champion. Owen Hawes grabs a microphone, sets up his chair in the ring, pulls out a pack of cigarettes and a lighter from his pocket and lights up. He takes in the first drag, exhales the smoke, lifts the microphone to his lips, and says,
“Miss me?”
The audience’s familiar chant of “We’re not worthy!” begin to echo in the area. Hawes lifts up his head to politely bring them down. As the audience begins to settle down, the Nightmare continues to speak,
“For the uninitiated, I am Owen Hawes, I am Global Championship Wrestling’s resident Nightmare, and I am here with one thing on my mind: revenge.”
Owen Hawes takes another drag from his cigarette,
“It’s a tale as old as any, but it’s what brings you and me together, Kidd. Kidd, I had a family, I had a trophy, I had the world! And then came the little serpent. You came into my garden, and you took all that I have! So, for those asking why I’m here; I am here for you, Kidd West!”
The Nightmare drops the cigarette onto the ground and steps on it with his foot, still sitting on the chair. He lifts up the microphone and speaks with a smile draped on his face, yet in a cold, scolding demeanor,
“Kidd West, I want you so I can hurt you. Kidd West, I want you so I can dismember you. Kidd West, I want you so I can take away everything you have ever held dear. Kidd West, I want you so you can feel what it’s like to be scared and alone. Kidd West, I want you so I can hurt you. Kidd West, I want you so I can dismember each three hundred and sixty joints in your body. Kidd West, I want you so I can slice off your ears. Kidd West, I want you so I can stick my fingers into your eye sockets until I hear that oh so marvelous…”
Owen Hawes makes a popping sound with his mouth…
“Kidd West, you can have your Conspiracy. You can have your championship. You can have your company. But remember this, Kidd, everywhere you look, you will find me behind your shoulder. Every time you turn around, you’ll see me for a moment. Kidd West, I’m warning you, right now, be afraid. Be worried. Have the anxiety keep you up at night. Have the insomnia creep in. Don’t fall asleep, Kidd. Don’t you dare fall asleep. Because the Nightmare, your Nightmare, is here.”
Kohl: What a way to end the show as Owen Hawes makes his return to GCW!
Beast: GCW just got a lot more nightmarish Kohl.
Kohl: It sure did partner. Thank you for joining us this week for GCW vindication. I’ve been Kohl, he’s been Beast and we’ll see you next time.
