Red pyro shoots off in varying directions as the GCW Mayhem logo flashes across the screen. The words Allstate Arena appear at the bottom and the official attendance number of 18,127 sit beneath it. The pyrotechnical display finishes as we cut to our commentary team for tonight Terry Kohl and Beast Jackson.
Kohl: WELCOME EVERYONE! We are here for GCW Mayhem, coming at you live from the Allstate Arena in Chicago, Illnois with a near capacity crowd for you today!
Beast: That is correct Kohl, and what a crowd it is. I love these excited Chicago crowds, they have a fire filled personality and won't be afraid to criticise failure!
Kohl: Even better. New owner Kidd West has instituted a new rule for this PPV, the usual ringside barricade is gone! This just enhances the danger!
Beast: Always gotta be careful, don't wanna get sued for punching a fan.
Kohl: So up first is elimination tables action to decide the new #1 Contender for the US Championship!
Beast: A three man battle coming up next between Kidd West, Daniel Collins and Dan Henderson!
US #1 Contender - Triple Threat Table Elimination -By Kidd West
We cut to the ring to see Dan Henderson already there, hyping up the audience as his entrance music begins to end. He keeps pumping his hands up to try get the crowd pumped.
'Daniel' by Elton John hits as Daniel Collins saunters out. Exuding swagger from every pore on his body. He suddenly 'draws' finger guns from two imaginary holsters and begins to fire them at the crowd. Hopping backwards in the meantime before stopping at the bottom of the ramp and blowing the 'smoke' from them before reholstering his finger guns. He slides into the ring and quickly rushes to his corner.
Fink: Making his way to the ring... from Wherever He Chooses... Daaaaniel Collins!
The lights dim, 'Psycho Killer' by One Bad Son hits the speakers. Shades of blue light swing throughout the arena as Kidd West steps through. Sledgehammer in hand, raising it above his head like a sword. He suddenly bursts into a sprint down the ramp and begins slamming his fist into his chest in tune with the drums. As he reaches the base of the ramp he looks at both Daniel and Dan, throwing his hammer into the ring and sliding in to the ring and climbing on top of the nearest ring post, holding Lady Sasha above his head as a lone blue spotlight descends upon him.
Fink: Making his way to the ring... from Calgary, Alberta, Canada... Kidd West!
The lights cut back on as West hops back down, Sledgehammer still in hand.
Kohl: Chilling
Beast: Did you say Chili? I could go for some chili right about now
Kohl:... and there is the bell.
West is quick to raise his sledgehammer up defensively, stalling the runs of both hungry competitors Dan and Daniel. Quickly sliding out of the ring, West grabs a table and slides it back in, taking time to walk over to the commentary booth. Dan and Daniel shrug and continue with the fight. Trading punches back and forth until suddenly Daniel spontaneously clotheslines Dan. Dan sickeningly rolls on the floor clutching his head. As he lays winded, Daniel begins to set up the table in the corner as Dan tries to climb back up against the ropes.
Kohl: He's setting up that table there...
Beast: Great Analysis Kohl. Dan Henderson is struggling to get back up.
As Dan struggles back up. Daniel grabs him by the ears and lifts him up. Suddenly he lifts Dan up, propping him up onto his shoulders... GET DUNKED ON!!! Dan Henderson is slammed into the table sending fragments of table spraying everywhere. Daniel Collins raises his fists until Kidd West suddenly slips in and cracks him in the back with the sledgehammer before slipping back out. Angered, Daniel Collins chases after West who slips into the crowd, trying to get to higher ground.
Kohl: West is making a daring escape as Daniel Collins follows in hot pursuit.
Beast: I would be mad too if I got hit in the back with a sledgehammer.
Collins catches up to West, who is midway up the large staircase in the crowd. Making several swift strikes to Wests back, causing him to stumble. Lifting West back up, Collins hits him with a German Suplex. Driving his back into the concrete steps. West crawls slowly towards his sledgehammer but Collins kicks it down the stairs before stomping on Wests hands. Grabbing West by the legs, Collins runs up the stairs causing West to bash his ribs and head off of each step.
Kohl: West taking heavy damage here
beast: That is why you do not piss with Daniel Collins, the big man...
West struggles free and begins to stumble through into an open area below one of the tiered seatings, a small technical area. A table sits in front of him, already set. West stumbles and clears the water bottles from it before rolling forward to dodge Dan Collins swiping for him. West quickly throws a nearby fans soda in Daniels face and then counters with a Spinning Wheel Kick sending Dan Collins down. West waves for him to get up... Shining Wizard!!! That almost took his head off... West quickly rolls Daniel Collins onto the table and climbs up some nearby scaffolding that reaches very high up in the arena.
Kohl: What is West thinking... that is a massive dive and a risk to take...
Beast: He looks to be trying to make this one death defying...
West stands high above looking down with a look of nervousness. He hesitates for a minute before closing his eyes and jumping backwards in a moonsault dive. There is silence for only a few seconds... then suddenly a loud bang and crash impact as West crashes into Daniel Collins who is still on top of the table... the fans go silent, staring at the table as medical staff rush up alongside referees and security. Clutching his ribs, Kidd West gets up raising his arm triumphantly as a chorus of boos rush from the crowd.
Fink: Your winner... and United States Championship #1 Contender... KIDD WEST!!!
Security quickly grabs West and begins to escort him back to the ring as the nearby fans begin to throw items at him such as drink cups, scrumpled pieces of paper. One fan even throws a pretzel at West who limps down to ringside as Medics look after Daniel Collins. West stops at ringside as Lola Sparkle excitedly attempts to interview West.
Lola: West... what a fantastic showing here, how must it feel to rise above and be able to challenge for the US Championship?
West blanks her before looking right into the cameraman
West: Simon Cade... The Conspiracy is coming... Run
West laughs as he limps back up the ramp as his theme plays over the arena.
Mason Childers vs. El Masko - Hardcore Title Extreme Rules match
This match opened with El Masko coming to ringside with a trashcan in hand. With great intrigue amongst the crowd in how he would go about using the trashcan. Mason Childers came in immediately after with the Hardcore title in hand. Both men shook hands in the ring before heading to their respective corners before the bell rang. As soon as it did both men rushed forward at each other and engaged in an epic duel of fists, throws and flips. The high point of the match was El Masko dropkicking the trashcan as Mason Childers caught it when it was thrown at him. In the end Mason was dominant, charging El Masko and knocking him to the ground before throwing him into the crowd where he was crowdsurfed out of the arena. As such Mason Childers won by default.
Simon Cade vs. Andrew Jordan - US Title Falls Count Anywhere
Simon Cade turned out a dominant performancee and Andrew Jordan just was not quite into it. Cade was tossing Jordan around the ring. Jordan was quick to flee into the crowd who were hammering their hands onto the ring in a drumroll. Cade quickly charged after him but Jordan had a surprise waiting for him in the crowd, clocking him with a crutch that one nearby fan had. However, Cade wasn't one to go down easy and returned the favour by snatching a fans chair and cracking him in the head. Cade ended the match by hitting his Skull Crushing Finale onto a box on electrical wires, causing a short circuit and shocking Andrew Jordan. Cade retains by KO.

Womens Title Match - By Darius Seeiso
Fink: The following contest is scheduled for one fall, and is for the GCW Women's Championship!
The echoes of "black sheep, come home" begin to bellow through the arena. The guitar chords ring through the arena, the spotlights swirl, and they converge on the stage, where Maricia stands. A smug smirk creeps across her face, and she begins to strut down to the ring, a lone spotlight guiding her. Every guitar chord sends a flash of light through the audience. She steps into the ring as the chorus starts, and the lights begin to shine in a rainbow of colours. She steps over to the corner, and stands on the middle rope, arms outstretched, the smug smile never leaving her face. She steps down, the music fades out, and she leans against the corner, awaiting her opponent.
The lights in the GCW arena go out and the opening notes of "Next Contestant" are heard.
"I judge by what shes wearing
Just how many heads i'm tearing
Off of assholes coming on to her
Each night seems like its getting worse"
Two blue strobe lights start searching the crowds of the Arena.
"I wish she'd take the night off
So I don't have to fight off
Every asshole coming onto her
It happens every night she works"
The lights both snap to the stage where Lynne Samuels is standing with her hands on her hips and a smirk on her face. By her side, Her cousin, Cecily.
"They'll go and ask the DJ
By now just what would she say
If they all tried coming onto her
Don't they know its never gonna work"
The girls make their way down the ramp, as Lynne's music blares through the speakers. When they reach the ring, Lynne walks to the further turnbuckle and climbs to the top, sitting on it facing the crowd. She fluffs her blonde hair and winks to the crowd before flipping backwards off of the turnbuckle into the ring. Lynne walks to the middle of the ring and winks again, Cecily by her side, before her music fades and the lights come back on.
Fink: Introducing first, the challenger, from Monaco-Ville, Monaco, Maricia Coucheaux!
Maricia raises her fist, focused on Lynne.
Fink: And introducing the champion, from Queens, New York, Lynne Samuels!
Lynne is in the corner laughing with Cecily, and she walks forward, raising her title, before handing it off to the ref.
The bell rings, and the match begins and as the two begin to circle each other, Clint Bishop walks onto the stage.
"Wait, wait, don't start just yet!"
Lynne and Maricia look over to Clint. He holds up a piece of paper, and sighs.
"By request of the GCW Board of Directors, Cecily Samuels is banned from ringside. Cecily, love, you've gotta go, I'm sorry."
Cecily begins throwing a fit on the outside of the ring, and Lynne starts yelling at Clint from the inside.
Kohl: Wait a second, doesn't Kidd West head the GCW board of directors?
Beast: I don't know my bosses, I just get paid!
Kohl: Well that's definitely a conflict of interest isn't it?!
Beast: Well let's be real, all he's doing is ensuring an equal playing field! Maricia doesn't have anyone out here helping her!
A security guard starts walking Cecily out, and Lynne is stomping around at the edge of the ring, furious. Maricia is just standing in the centre of the ring, eyes trained on Lynne.
Kohl: Well this match is underway! The bell has rung! Lynne better focu--
As Kohl is talking, Lynne is backing up, still yelling at Clint. As she backs up, Maricia grabs a hold of Lynne, spins her around, and hits the Rain-Trigger.
Kohl: There's that knee from Maricia, Lynne is rocked here!
Lynne rolls over to the corner, and struggles to get to her feet. Maricia quickly pulls down her knee pads, charges, and hits Lynne with the double knees.
Beast: LAST TRAIN TO PARIS! Maricia has Lynne back-pedalling here!
Maricia begins frantically circling Lynne, as Lynne struggles to stand in the centre of the ring. Lynne makes it to her feet, and Maricia shakes her head, before planting her foot, spinning, and cracking Lynne with her trademark spinning heel kick.
Kohl: Marie Antoinette! This may be it!
Maricia slides over for the pin. The ref counts.
1!
2!
3!
Kohl: Maricia is GCW Women's Champion!
Beast: The queen has her crown!
Maricia stands up, still as stoic as usual, but with a slight smile. The ref hands her the title, and Maricia smiles. She nods, and raises the title high.
GCW World Championship #1 Contenders Match - By Darius Seeiso
Fink: The following contest, is a fatal four way, elimination, tables match! The rules of the match are as follows, once you are put through a table by an opponent, you are eliminated. The last man standing will be named the number one contender for the GCW Heavyweight Championship.
As "Freak on A Leash" starts, the crowd begins to cheer. Mason appears and stands, looking around to everyone in the crowd.
Fink: Introducing first, from Derby, England, accompanied by Ian Dawson, he is "The Monster in The Shadows", Mason James!
His eyes laser focused, he begins to stomp towards the ring. He gets in the ring over the top rope and screams to the crowd while Ian Dawson points at him.
As the trumpets hit in the song, Kenji burst on the stage, dancing and clapping along.
Fink: From Tokyo, Japan, Kenji Yamada!
Kenji high fives the crowd all the way around the ring before sliding onto the side and pointing to the crowd. Kenji then enters the ring and runs straight onto the turnbuckle before throwing his fedora into the crowd.
As the guitar swells, Sway hops out onto the stage, flanked by a flock of women. He turns his back to the crowd, and kneels.
Fink: From Chicago, Illinois--
Sway: Hold up my good man Fink!
The music lowers and Sway hops to his feet, turning as he does.
Sway: I know nobody informed you, but I've got a personal ring announcer man, so don't worry about it!
Fink looks slightly dejected, but lowers his microphone. Sway stands there, with a smug grin on his face, as a man comes out from the back, in a black and red tuxedo, matching with Sway and the girls.
Sway: Ladies and gentlemen, former announcer for Chicago Bulls, Ray Clay!
Sway hands the man a microphone and backs off. He waves his hand and the music starts again.
Ray: AAAAAAAAND NOW! The third competitor in this match, at 6'0, 189 pounds! From Chicago, Illinois! Sway! Archer!
Sway bobs along to the music as he makes his way down to the ring, flanked by the large group of women. As he enters the ring, he points to the canvas, then up to the sky. He hops onto the turnbuckle and kisses his fist as the sparks reign down. The crowd has a mixed reaction to Sway, but it doesn't phase him.
All of a sudden, the lights flicker and cut immediately to black. White noise fills the screens.
Images flicker and glitch into the arena as Little Monster by Royal Blood kicks in over the speakers. The crowd erupts as Drew Murdock strolls out onto the stage in his wrestling gear and studded leather jacket. He pauses to acknowledge the crowd with arms outstretched either side of him as fireworks shoot up from the stage.
Fink: From Manchester, England, making his return to GCW, he is "The Iconoclast", Drew Murdock!
Drew strolls purposefully towards the ring and springs up onto the ring apron, pausing to acknowledge the crowd before jumping into the ring over the top rope. Once in the ring he sprints across to leap onto the middle ropes of the far turnbuckle - lifting his arms in the air and saluting the crowd. The crowd is filled with "Murdock" chants. Finally he jumps down, takes off the leather jacket and casually tosses it out of the ring before limbering up in his corner against the ropes.
Kohl: Drew Murdock is back ladies and gentlemen!
Sway is still standing on the turnbuckle, staring at Drew.
Beast: He cut off Sway, and Sway looks pissed! Brilliant job, Drew!
Sway steps down and stares down Drew. The ref calls for the bell, and everybody looks hesitant. Drew saunters to the centre, and looks between the other three competitors.
Beast: The veteran Drew Murdock possibly attempting to intimidate his opponents here?
Sway steps up and gets right in Drew's face. He starts mouthing off, and Drew responds in turn.
Kohl: A little jaw-jacking here from Sway and Drew!
Sway backs up, and the two go to lock up. In a swift motion, Sway ducks Drew's lockup attempt, and rolls out of the ring. He shakes his head and begins to slowly walk around the ring, disappearing into the crowd of fans. Drew, in a moment of confusion, gets blindsided by a clubbing blow to the back, courtesy of Mason James.
Kohl: Drew just got bowled over by Mason!
Beast: Eyes on the prize-- or in this case, on the monster!
Kenji charges at Mason, who promptly grabs Kenji by the throat, and hurls him over the top rope, onto a few fans who were close to the ring. As Kenji makes it to his feet on the outside, Sway begins to stomp him, keeping him down. Meanwhile, inside the ring, Drew rises to his feet to confront Mason.
Kohl: Drew trying to match up with the Monster here!
Beast: Drew just came back, and you can't afford to be rusty against a guy like Mason!
Mason goes for a punch, but Drew ducks it and lands a few kicks to the leg. Mason swings again, but Drew still ducks, hitting a few shots to the body. Mason swings once more, and Drew goes for a punch, but Mason catches it. He follows it up with a quick headbutt, stunning Drew.
Beast: Drew got caught there!
Mason grabs Drew, throws him into the air, and connects with a clothesline, knocking Drew out of mid air.
Kohl: Is there any stopping Mason James?
On the outside, Sway continues to put the boots to Kenji, every now and again stopping to look at what's going on in the ring. As Sway sees the lifting clothesline, his eyes widen, and he locks eyes with Mason. Meanwhile, Kenji is making his way to his feet and backs up the ramp. Sway turns around, right into a shotgun dropkick from Kenji, which sends Sway crashing into the apron. Mason turns his attention back to Drew, and as he goes to lift him, Drew pops up with an enziguri, stunning Mason. Kenji slides into the ring and hits Mason with a bicycle kick to the side of the head, which staggers the giant. Drew connects with a dropkick, sending Mason reeling on the ropes. Kenji then charges and connects with a shotgun dropkick, driving Mason through the middle rope. The crowd erupts into cheers as Kenji and Drew stand in the middle of the ring, triumphantly.
Kohl: Teamwork from Drew and Kenji just took Mason out of commission!
Beast: Yes, but for how long? When Mason comes back, that's 300 pounds of sheer anger coming back into the mix.
Kohl: We can't worry about that now, we're about to see something special! These two have never faced off before! This will be a great test for Kenji.
Drew and Kenji circle each other, before locking up. Drew grabs an arm wringer, but Kenji skillfully twists out of it, and applies one of his own. Drew breaks the hold and snatches a headlock. Kenji steps on the back of Drew's knee, breaking the hold, and snatching a headlock of his own. Drew spins out of the headlock, grabbing a top-wristlock. Kenji reverses the top wrist lock into a hammerlock, which Drew quickly breaks, spinning around Kenji and grabbing a rear waist lock. Kenji struggles for a second, and breaks the rear waist lock. He whips Drew over with a snapmare, and lands a stiff kick to Drew's back.
Kohl: A brilliant technical exchange, with Kenji getting the better of it! Two very talented men here!
Drew rises to his feet, and shakes his head. As he turns to face Kenji, Kenji quickly snatches a headlock. Drew backs Kenji up to the ropes, and pushes him off. As Kenji rebounds, he hits a shoulder block. Kenji goes off the ropes again, jumps over Drew's trip attempt. Off the other ropes, and he ducks under Drew's leapfrog. Off the ropes once more, and Drew hits a basement dropkick, knocking out the knee of Kenji. Kenji clutches his knee in pain and Drew gloats to the fans.
Beast: Drew has to focus here, he's still got the looming threats of Mason and Sway!
Mason climbs onto the apron, but Sway grabs his foot, trying to drag him off. Mason pushes Sway back with his foot, then hops off the apron to deal with Sway. Sway tries to back up, and plead with Mason, but gets a stiff haymaker for his troubles. Mason begins to club Sway, leaving him stunned beside the ring post. A loud roar from Mason clears the fans, and Mason backs up, lining up his shot on Sway.
Beast: Sway Archer's gonna get sandwiched! Goodnight sweet prince!
Mason charges, and Sway ducks out of the way. Mason crashes into the ring post, and Sway slides into the ring to avoid further damage. He connects with a wrecking ball dropkick to the side of Mason's head, and Mason careens into a group of fans, dazed.
Kohl: Sway now taking Mason out of commission, keeping himself and the others safe!
Sway rises to his feet on the apron, and Drew grabs him by the neck. Sway hits a stiff back elbow, knocking Drew away. Sway goes to step into the ring, but Kenji hits the Drop The Bass, sending Sway tumbling onto the floor.
Kohl: A well timed 'Drop The Bass from Kenji, and Sway is down again!
Kenji pops up to his feet, but Drew grabs him from behind, and hits an inverted DDT.
Kohl: Kenji is down now too! What's Drew got planned now?
Drew looks out to the fans and nods. He rolls out of the ring, on the opposite side of the other three competitors, and flips up the ring skirt. Drew produces a table, and slides it into the ring, and then slides in another. Drew slides into the ring, then looks to the three men all stirring on the outside.
Kohl: Drew's got something big planned here!
Sway begins crawling around to the other side of the ring, leaving Kenji and Mason dazed together. Drew hops out onto the apron, and jumps up for the springboard moonsault. Kenji dives out of the way, leaving Drew to come crashing down, only taking out Mason.
Beast: Smart of Kenji and Sway to escape, Mason took all the damage there.
Kohl: Drew's probably hurting little bit from that too! Those moves take a lot to execute.
Sway scrambles back into the ring, as does Kenji. They work their way to their feet, and exchange shots. Kenji ducks a forearm from Sway, and goes to throw Sway out of the ring. As he goes to throw Sway through the middle rope, Sway flips and catches on to the top and middle rope, holding himself with his signature pose. He smiles at Kenji, who backs off and allows Sway to re-enter the ring, as the crowd cheers.
Beast: Such cocky confidence from Sway Archer here! He's gonna get his comeuppance one day, I assure you!
Kohl: I thought you loved the cocky, arrogant, guys here in GCW?
Beast: Well not Sway!
Sway runs at Kenji, ducks a clothesline, bounces off the other ropes, and lands a running meteora. Drew rolls into the ring, and Sway rolls up to his feet, but he's met by an enziguri from Drew. Sway stumbles, and Drew snatches him up into a suplex, before landing a Falcon Arrow.
Kohl: Once again, Drew is the only one standing here!
Drew kicks the one table out of the ring, and rolls out to set it up. Sway rolls out of the ring, and Kenji staggers to his feet. Mason makes it to his feet on the outside. Kenji begins setting up the table in front of the turnbuckle.
Beast: We might see some tables come into play here Kohl!
Drew climbs onto the apron, as Mason slides into the ring. Mason goes to hit Kenji, but Kenji ducks the shot, and hits a stiff bicycle kick to Mason. Drew hits a kick to the back of Mason's head, from the apron. Kenji follows it up with a spinning heel kick, which leaves Mason dazed once again, leaning against the table in the ring. Kenji and Drew look at each other, then double take between Mason and each other once more. Drew points to the table, and Kenji points to the top rope. They both nod.
Kohl: Looks like Kenji and Drew are gonna work together! This might be the end for Mason!
Beast: Smart strategy, get the big man out first!
Kenji struggles, but eventually lifts Mason onto the table. Drew begins scaling the ropes, and he sets up for the moonsault. Drew stands upon the top rope, and as he does, Sway scales the apron, and pushes Drew into the table that Drew had set up on the outside. Drew goes crashing through the table, much to the dismay of the audience.
Fink: Drew Murdock has been eliminated!
Beast: God damn you Sway!
Kohl: Sway Archer just pushed Drew through--
Beast: No! What Sway did, was he basically just cost himself the match! Drew has the most experience! He was probably the only one who could eliminate Mason, and he still needed Kenji's help! What a dumb move!
Mason rolls off the table, as Kenji stares at the wreckage of Drew, shocked. Mason makes it to his feet, and clocks Kenji with a discus elbow, sending him rolling out of the ring. Mason follows him out, leaving Sway in the ring, alone. Kenji tries to duck through the fans, but Mason begins pushing fans out of the way, clearing a path. He finally gets to Kenji, but Kenji lands a stiff kick to the side of Mason's head. Mason is only angered by it though. He lets out another roar, grabs the nearest fan, and hurls them at Kenji.
Beast: Mason has been unleashed!
Mason moves the fan out of the way, and grabs Kenji, rolling him back into the ring. Mason grabs a table from under the ring, and sets it up on the outside. Ian appears from out of the crowd, and yells 'Mason!'. As Mason turns to look, Ian point and the table and shakes his head. He holds up four fingers, and points to the apron. Mason nods and drags out three more tables. He sets them up in a 2x2 pattern on the outside, much to the delight of Ian.
Kohl: I was gonna say Mason has something planned here, but I don't know if he does! Ian is just directing traffic!
Inside the ring, Sway picks up Kenji and drags him over to the table near the turnbuckle. He rolls Kenji onto the table, then goes to scale the ropes.
Beast: Look at Sway, he didn't see how poorly this turned out for Drew?
Kohl: Yes but this time, there's no one to knock Sway off, Mason is preoccupied setting up these tables!
As Sway makes it to the top rope, Kenji comes to, and rolls off the table. He begins to contest Sway, climbing up to the top to stop him. After trading blows, Kenji lands 4 hard slaps to the ear and neck of Sway, stunning him. Kenji hooks Sway for a suplex, as Mason rolls back into the ring. Kenji pulls for the superplex, but Sway is holding on for dear life.
Kohl: Sway better hold on, or else he'll get eliminated here--wait, what's Mason doing!?
Mason cracks Kenji with a clubbing blow to the lower back. He hits another, and another, until Kenji lets go of Sway. Mason then grabs Kenji around the waist.
Beast: Mason's got Kenji right where he wants him!
Mason hurls Kenji from the top rope with a German suplex, driving him through the table in the ring.
Fink: Kenji Yamada has been eliminated!
Kohl: Kenji is out! It's down to Sway and Mason!
Mason stands and roars, as the refs drag the wreckage of Kenji and the table out of the ring. Sway comes to on the top rope though, and dives, hitting Mason with a missile dropkick.
Kohl: Sway not wasting any time here! He wants the big man out!
Mason stumbles towards the ropes, Sway runs over, and begins cracking Mason with punch after punch. He forces Mason to the apron, underneath the bottom rope.
Beast: You're not gonna beat him like that Sway!
Kohl: Not so fast Beast, look at where Mason is positioned! He's right in front of that field of tables Ian told him to set up!
As Mason makes it to his feet on the apron, Sway charges and hits a running forearm. Mason almost falls through, but holds on with both hands. Sway charges again, bounces off the ropes, and hits another forearm, and Mason only holds on with one hand.
Kohl: One more shot, Mason may fall! This might be over!
The crowd begins to swell. Sway hypes himself up to run and charge back for the third forearm. As he takes the first step to run off the ropes, Mason grabs a hold of Sway from behind. He grabs Sway's head, and hooks it in a reverse DDT position, over the top rope.
Kohl: Oh no!
Beast: Can he hit the Mason Massacre, through the tables!?
Mason lifts Sway for the Mason Massacre, but Sway flips over Mason, landing on Mason's back. Sway, now riding Mason's back, begins to hammer away at Mason's head, and tries to pull him off. Mason is holding on to the ropes though, struggling against Sway's weight pulling him back.
Kohl: Can Sway get Mason to let go here?
Sway desperately tries to claw at Mason's eyes. Mason screams in pain, and lets go of the rope, reaching his hands up to stop Sway. Sway pulls once more, and Mason stumbles. The pair fall backwards, both of them crashing through the four tables.
Kohl: That's it! Sway wins!
Beast: What do you mean Sway wins?!
Kohl: He dragged Mason through the tables!
Beast: How do you know Mason didn't fall back on purpose, to drive Sway through the tables!
Kohl pauses for a moment.
Kohl: Beast, I don't know, you may be right here, this is a close one!
The refs begin to collude on the outside. Sway and Mason begin to stir, Sway clutching his neck, Mason still tending to his eyes. A ref walks over to Fink and whispers in his ear.
Fink: Ladies and gentlemen, after some deliberation, the referees have come to a decision. Due to the fact that both competitors fell through the tables at the same time, this match will be considered a draw!
Kohl: A draw!
Beast: A draw?! What in the hell kind of decision is that!
Nigel Alexander walks out onto the stage with a microphone.
Nigel: Now this isn't how we wanted, or expected this match to end! However, it wouldn't be fair to restart the match. So now, at GCW's next PPV, 'The One', it will be Mason James versus Sway Archer versus the GCW Heavyweight Champion Darius Seeiso!
Edgar Whateley vs. Jensen - International Championship Ladder Match
Fink: Ladies and gentlemen. The following contest is a ladder match and it is for the international championship, making his way to the ring first from The mountain of madness, weighing in at 225 pounds, Ed-
*Fink’s microphone cuts out and the crowd begins to mutter to themselves. Then, A.H.B by Survive blasts out as the lights cut out and smoke fills the stage. A masked figure emerges from the smoke. Dressed in the same attire as Edgar, he slowly makes his way to the apron and rolls in. He doesn’t play to the crowd in the slightest as he simply leans onto the corner, awaiting his opponent*
Beast: Who’s this guy? And why has he got Edgar’s attire on?
Kohl: I would like to think that it is Edgar but i’m not too sure. Either way the match needs to go forward.
Fink: And his opponent, from Portland, Oregon weighing in at 217 pounds, Jensen!
*As the pines by Portugal, the man begins to play; Jensen emerges and raises his arms, triggering the fans to respond with cheers. He walks confidently down to the ring, high-fiving the crowd that surround the gym as they cheer him on. After making his way into the ring, he removes his fluorescent jacket, carefully handing it over to an official outside before turning to face the masked figure man and looking him over with a confused look to his face*
*With both men in their respectful corners, the referee points to the title that is suspended in the air and then signals for the bell to be rung*
*Initially, The two men just stare at each other, tying to find an opening and form a game plan. The pair performs a collar and elbow tie up with the masked man gaining the advantage with a headlock. He pushes Jensen into the corner who launches him off in an Irish whip. Jensen ducks a clothesline and hits the returning masked man with a dropkick. He gets straight back up and is hit by another dropkick before once again making his way back onto his feet but this time being caught in a hip toss-armbar combo*
Kohl: A great sequence by Jensen, gaining the initially control of the man who I have just been told is called, Nyarlathotep.
*Nyarlathotep begins to make his way back up and connects with a series of punches to the stomach followed by a vicious clothesline, resulting in Jensen flipping over. Nyarlathotep snaps his neck before mounting Jensen and hitting him with even more punches. He gets Jensen up and connects with a snap suplex, throwing Jensen into the corner. With Jensen out of the way, Nyarlathotep rolls outside and chooses the largest ladder, a 25ft one and places it inside the ring*
Beast: Of course he would pick the largest ladder!
*As Nyarlathotep places the ladder in the centre of the ring, Jensen hits and elbow to the back of his head, preventing Nyarlathotep from climbing the ladder. Jensen attempts to go for a climb himself only for Nyarlathotep to pull him down by his tights and throw him into the ladder. Jensen grabs his face instantly as Nyarlathotep grabs his back and launches him with a German suplex. Jensen rolls into the corner where he leans on the bottom turnbuckle, blood streaming down his nose from the ladder shot*
Kohl: That chair shot has busted Jensen open. But that is what we should be expecting from this kind of match.
Beast: Someone call the doctor. We need another face mask!
* Nyarlathotep looks up the ladder and shakes his head. Instead of climbing it, he folds it up and points it towards the prone Jensen. The crowd urge him to move as Nyarlathotep takes a step back before charging at Jensen...Just as Jensen moves out the way, making Nyarlathotep catch his stomach on the ladder. Nyarlathotep turns around, only to be met with a sling blade by Jensen. Jensen fires himself up as the crowd cheer him on as Nyarlathotep makes his way up to his feet. Jensen points at him and connects with a shotgun dropkick, sending Nyarlathotep into the corner and rebounding off. Without hesitation, Jensen rolls back to his feet and clotheslines Nyarlathotep over the top rope as the crowd makes room for him. Jensen sees Nyarlathotep get up to his feet as the crowd surround him. Jensen nods his head and charges for the ropes and launching himself over with a toupee suicide over the top rope, crashing not only into Nyarlathotep, but into the crowd that were close to him*
Beast: Well, we’re lucky that the crowd had to sign that they were putting themselves at risk being that close to the ring.
*Jensen gets up first, screaming at the crowd as they scream back at him in excitement. He lifts Nyarlathotep up and points to the announcers table before whipping Nyarlathotep onto it. Jensen also gets on top of it and lifts Nyarlathotep back up. The crowd start a rising cheer as Jensen lifts him up...and connects with censored colours!*
Kohl: Censored Colours on the announce table! But it doesn’t break!
Beast: Just me, it is sometimes worse when it doesn’t break.
*Jensen raises his hands to the crowd who are close to losing their minds and this time points to the ring. He jumps into the crowd who help him surf onto the apron and into the ring. Jensen quickly grabs the ladder that Nyarlathotep used earlier and sets it up in the middle of the ring. He scales to the top of the ladder and looks at the title. The crowd on unsure as to why Jensen is hesitating...until he shakes his head and signals for the crowd to move away from the announcers table. The crowd slowly disperse to either side and even Kohl and Beast realise that they need to move*
Kohl: Oh no. Don’t do this Jensen! Remember what happened last time. You don’t want to injure yourself again...He jumped...AND CONNECTS WITH NYARLATHOTEP!
*The crowd goes completely wild as Jensen crashes into Nyarlathotep on the table as it breaks. The two men are on the ground motionless for a few seconds until Jensen begins to stir. He crawls to the ropes as the crowd form a sort of tunnel directed to the ring. Jensen rolls himself inside and begins to struggle his way up the ladder he had just jumped from. The crowd begin chanting Jensen’s name as he makes his way to the top once again...and this time retrieves the international title*
Kohl: JENSEN DOES IT!
Beast: Amazing...
Kohl: It's been a long time coming... but Jensen is now your 3x International Champion!!!
